It was strange, how you couldn't take your eyes away from the guy walking towards the counter even after he averted his eyes after a second. It was only a split second of staring at you but you were caught with his golden hue that reminded you of the streamer you had watched– by accident because of a pop-up ad– last night.

They possess the same eyes, gold and cat-like, as though if you inch closer to him, you would see yourself being reflected in those orbs.

Before you could get lost in your train of thoughts, you felt your coworker nudged your shoulder and you looked at her. You immediately turned to the customer standing in front, the same guy.

"Good evening, may I take your order?" You asked politely, trying not to stare too much at his hypnotizing orbs.

"I'll have an iced americano for to go and a slice of apple pie," he said in his usual languid voice. You thought maybe the reason why he always buy coffee is to keep him awake, judging by how tired he always seem.

"Will that be all?"

He nodded with a slight mutter of what you thought is a yes but you really couldn't tell since you almost couldn't hear him. You went to prepare his order. The coffee is the same as the one he ordered last time too. And just like last time, he always wear that hood and mask like he couldn't be bothered to interact with other people.
