Cruel World {Minho}

Chapter 9

Minho takes me to the deepest part of the woods,a large pond. I take off my shoes and dip my feet in to see it's surprisingly warm. I take off all my clothes,except my underwear. And Minho does the same. I just stand there,looking at the pond. Nervous for some reason,when two arms wrap around me,I obviously know who it is.

"Come on." He whispers in my ear.

So we jump into the pond,I just swim about for a little while then begin to smack my hands on the surface of the water. He does the same then leaps at me,his arms pulling me against him. He strokes back a strand of my wet hair. I take the time admire his chest,his muscles,his body. As he closes his eyes and pressed his lips to mine. I react instantly,kissing him back,both of us sinking into the water so that you're submerged in our kiss. It goes on forever until we both need to pull away for breath. Our foreheads rest together.

"You're so beautiful." He whispers,panting slightly.

I don't know how to respond so I kiss him again.

We rest on the side of the pond,arms wrapped around each other's. We dry in the warm sun then get our clothes back on,I dry my hair then lie down,my head on his warm chest.

"How long do we have to sneak around for?" I ask him.
"What do you mean Emily?"
"I don't want to sneak around,not anymore."
"The other Gladers won't like it. Plus,Alby said nothing could happen when you turned up."
"What so you expect me to be on display?"
"No. Look,I like you. And I don't want anyone to take you away."
"Minho,that's not possible. You're the only one in this place who I want to be with."
"Okay. Just can we wait a little longer?"
"Of course we can. Just not to long. I mean Gally knows,it won't be long until he tells anyone else."
