Jessica Olsen was born in Manhattan, New York. She grew up with Blair, Serena, Chuck, and Nate, the Non-Judging Breakfast Club as they all liked to call themselves.
However, Jessica and Nate had a friendship that everyone was envy of. The way they could just understand what the other person is thinking about with just communicating with their eyes was amazing. If anyone didn't know, they would think they were a match made in heaven. They were. But Nate being Nate made it clear to everyone he always wanted Blair, which he soon realized Blair wasn't what he wanted.
Jessica was.
Jessica understood him on a level no one else could. Her laugh could always lift up his spirts. Of course when he was close to telling her how he felt, Jessica told him she had to move to LA.
Everyone was devastated, but not as much as the Golden Boy. He couldn't imagine his life without Jessica.
So he did what he thought was the right thing to do. He didn't show up to say goodbye. He let her go, thinking it'll save both of them the heartbreak when it was quite the opposite.
