Planting crops is one of THE MOST important things to do first in the valley.
When you start the game, the first thing you should do is plant the 15 parsnip seeds you receive in the box ⬇️you find in your house.⬇️

Make sure to water you plants every day so they can grow. Crafting or buying a scarecrow is very helpful as well when planting, it will scare crows away from destroying your crops.

You can find seeds for crops in many different areas including: Pierres General Store, Joja Mart, and the Traveling Cart. I highly suggest to go to Pierres, because unlike him; Joja Corp is evil, but lets not get to that right now. You can buy seeds in other places, like the Winter Market or Oasis Store, but the first stated ⬇️stores are open all year.⬇️
