ROBIN
We had been teleported back to camp by Apollo and then he returned to his 'duties'. All 14 of us were sat in the big house thinking of ways to defeat the primordials without Percy since he was the best swordsman out of all of them.
"We need to press them into a head on attack!" Frank blurted out randomly.
"Explain," Annabeth demanded.
"Well the only way to defeat a primordial, because they can't be killed, is to take them away from their source of power and slay them like any monster," Frank explained, "Which will scatter their power and put them into a slumber."
"Frank you're a genius!" Percy shouted.
"So Tartarus' domain is his own pit, so as long as he's not in Tartarus itself that's fine," Annabeth said.
"Erebus is darkness so we just need to bring him in daylight somewhere with no trees or boulders to allow for shadows," Piper continued.
"And Nyx is night so as long as she's not in her palace and outside during the day, we can defeat her as well," Jason finished.
"Alright well we found how we're going to be able to defeat them the problem will be getting them in those positions," Annabeth stated.
"Wait so let me get this straight, one of these primordials alone are stronger than the entire Olympian council and the only way to defeat them is getting them away from their domains and they're not gonna do that voluntarily?" I asked, "so how do you expect us split into groups of four, without help from the Olympians to be able to defeat them?"
"Easy," Percy said.
"How so?" Asked Artemis.
"We're the dream team," he replied with his lopsided grin.
Everyone started smiling and grinning, he had that effect on people. The morale and atmosphere in the room seemed to lighten 10 fold. Everyone, including myself, suddenly felt like this was gonna be just another quest or mission like many more before. Time to get this done.
We had been training for the past few days. Everyone was learning everything, in fact Percy had even learned how to hit the target in archery. Leo had made celestial bronze and imperial gold tools for those of us who needed them. He had made me a staff exactly like my own in weight, size and strength but it was imperial gold so I could use it against monsters, he had made my birdarangs out of celestial bronze and my utility belt was blessed by Hephaestus so that it would never run out of them. Artemis had gotten new arrows, the tips were made from imperial gold and some from celestial bronze. Her quiver was also blessed by Hephaestus so every time she would take an arrow out another would replace it. Honestly the god of forges seemed like a generally nice guy, slightly insane, but nice.
It was finally the day of the quest, Percy and Kaldur had set off to Olympus, to regroup with the gods and locate where Typhoon would appear. The rest of us all set off together since all the Primordials were in Tartarus but in different locations. Nyx was in her palace, Erebus was in the furthest corner of Tartarus where his veil of darkness was, and the big bad himself was in the cavern where the doors of death were located. Nico had helped us gain this information but he refused to come into Tartarus with us.
ANNABETH
When Nico told us that he didn't want to come with us I completely understood. Tartarus was hell, literally, for me and Percy but for a child of Hades they see it in its true form not in the demigod friendly version. He had been traumatised by the experience when he had been down there before, so I understood why he didn't want to come to Tartarus. Now you're probably thinking that I'd be terrified but it had been a while since I'd been here and my experience wasn't that bad compared to Nico's so I had gotten over it.
