"You seriously need me to go through all this stupid shit for you?"
"Yes, you're the only one who can do it. Besides, you could manage for a few months - could even do you some good."
"Ha, bullshit. I'm not getting sent to a fucking school full of fairies and social rejects all of a sudden, just so you can get your hands on some extra cash."
"It's not just extra some cash. This could be worth millions - possibly more than we've ever received, but we can't do this without you there."
"I've already told you, no. This is such pussy shit anyways, what if I wanna be like the rest of us and just kill a guy who owes us a few hundred-thousand? I'm sure there's plenty of them waiting on your list. Besides I'm not a fucking kid anymore."
"Look, it's not that easy as you may think it seems. This job I've assigned for you isn't some silly preppy shit either. Besides, I never said I wouldn't need you to end up killing someone."
"What's even in it for me?"
"Hahah, I'm so glad you asked..
how does a promotion sound? Being one of us, just like you wished. Just picture it - you could soon even be head of the mafia..
Clay."

"Hey! Watch where you're going dipshit." shouts a small brunette boy as another boy runs and accidentally barges into his shoulder, almost pushing him over.
The boy turns back to the angered brunette, with almost instant regret in his eyes.
"S-sorry, George."
George deathstares the boy once more, lowering his voice.
"Run into me again and you will be."
The crowd around him breaks from the silence, as the short brunette turns back to his locker.

"Sheesh, who pissed you off this time?" Asks a taller boy with blonde-ish hair as he walks over to George.
"Oh hey, Nick. Just an asshole that barged into me. I dealt with him though so it's okay."
Nick couldn't help but giggle.
"God you've got such a short temper, maybe it's because you're so shor-"
George immediately stepped on Nick's foot firmly without hesitation.
"OW! What the heck George?!"
"I wouldn't finish that sentence if I were you."
"Geez! Okay then - Oh hey, I forgot to ask, did you hear about that new kid? Heard he's a bit of a pretty boy."
Nick nudged at George's shoulder, winking.
"Oh shutup. I'm sure it's just another obnoxious asshole to deal with."
"Pfft, you're no fun."
The bell then rung for first period.
The two separated, with a quick "Cya!" and headed off.

George slumped down at his desk, fiddling with a pen as the teacher rambled in the background. He never seemed to pay attention, probably why his grades were pretty terrible to say the least.
Suddenly the door creaked open, and the whole class almost instantly turned their heads out of complete boredom. There, at the doorway stood a tall boy with fluffy dirty blonde hair, emerald green eyes followed with light freckles dusted over his cheeks. He was wearing a lime green hoodie with some black ripped jeans, and a black messenger bag thrown over his torso.
"My apologies, Miss. I got lost along the way, this is my first day here."

It was him. The new kid Nick was talking about - practically the whole school was talking about.
George thought to himself.
Wow, they really weren't lying when they said he was a pretty boy..

"That's no problem, just be more prepared in the future. How about you introduce yourself?" The teacher suggested.
"Oh, of course uh-"
The boy turned to class, everyone - including George seemed to have their full attention on him.
"My names Clay, I'm from Florida and uh-"
"Do you happen to be a model?" a girl cut him off.
"Ha, no actually-"
"Are you famous? I swear I've seen you before." another student asked
"No-"
"Are you single by any chance?"
Yet another interrupted.
"Alright students, settle down with the questions. I'm sure Clay here would be more than happy to answer them during recess. But for now, open your books to page 203 and begin the exercise.
Clay then went to look for a place to sit down. There were a few people that gestured him to go sit near them, but he seemed to ignore them. He ended up settling in the seat behind George, and George couldn't help but feel a little flustered as he walked by him.
He wasn't going to deny it, Clay was a very attractive guy.
Clay, huh? He thought to himself as he gave a slight nose giggle. I honestly kinda hope you're not that bad.

The bell had rung for recess, as George, Nick and another friend named Karl walked around chattering amongst themselves.
"Hey, so have any of you seen the new guy yet?" Karl asked.
"Yep, even had a small conversation with him during first period." George replied, with a slight 'proud' smirk on his face.
"You what?!"
"Yeah, I recognised he was listening to music and asked what song he was listening to, turns out we both have similar music taste."
"Woah that's so cool!" Karl happily gasped.
Nick rolled his eyes.
"Really? Kinda lame if you asked me."
"Whatever, Nick. Bet you can't even find one thing you like that someone else also finds interest in."
"Thats so not true!"
"I bet it is."
The three then came to a stop, as a massive noisy crowd blocked their way.
"What the fuck is happening here?.." Nick questioned.
"No clue, but they all better get the fuck out of my way." George exclaimed, frustrated.
"OI! GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR WAY! CAN'T YOU SEE YOU'RE BLOCKING THE HALLWAY?!" The small brunette shouted.
People then almost immediately slowly moved out of George's way, not wanting to cause trouble with him. Soon enough, he realised why so many people were here.
It was Clay. He was talking to a few people, mostly girls - although it was pretty obvious he was bothered by them.
Clay then looked up, recognising George. "Oh! Uh, heyy.. Jordan was it-?" Clay said walking towards George, obviously trying to avoid the conversations.
"No it's-"
Nick instantly covered George's mouth, cutting him off.
"Haha.. what he meant was YES! His name is Jordan."
George mumbled angrily under Nick's hand, not understanding what was going on.
"Yeah, well sorry ladies but I have a project to do with Jordan here, I'll catch you all later."
Clay said, grabbing onto George's wrist walking away at a slight fast pace.
The group of ladies stood there looking confused, and slightly annoyed.
One of them eventually yelled out, "Who's Jordan? That's George.." and Clay picked up his pace as he practically ran around the corner, still holding onto George.
Nick and Karl continued to stand there for a while, processing what had just happened to their friend, eventually breaking out into laughter.

———

George eventually wriggled out of Clay's grip. "What the hell just happened?" He asked slightly frustrated.
"Look, I just needed to get away from that annoying crowd - I thought that was obvious."
George shook his head.
"No. Not at all. It felt like you were trying to kidnap me or something, kind of weird if you ask me."
"Why would I be trying to kidnap you? This is literally a school."
"Shutup, alright. Are you even gonna apologise for making that scene earlier? You made me have to use my precious vocal cords to yell at your fan club."
Clay chuckled a little.
"Pffft- Wait that was you yelling earlier?"
"Yeah, why what about it?"
"My god, you have a short temper.
Maybe it's just a coincidence because you're shor-"
George stepped on Clay's foot, firmly - like he did with Nick, earlier.
"Can people stop saying that? It's really lame to make fun of someone's height y'know."
George crossed his arms, waiting for a response such as;
'What the hell was that for?'
or
'Geez, Calm down! It's just the truth!'
But instead was surprised with Clays laughter - wheezing to be more precise.
"What's so funny?" George snapped, he had never gotten this reaction before - and he had never heard someone laugh so odd yet so unique, that he couldn't help but laugh too.
"You're so- so- strange?" Clay finally replied still trying to catch his breath from all the laughter.
"What was it? George?"
"Yes. Not fucking Jordan."
Clay almost instantly started wheezing again, George continued to try to look 'pissed' but soon realised that Clay's abnormal wheezing wasn't making that easy at all, and started laughing along with him again.
He didn't know why but, it felt nice having this company. Even if he had no exactly what he was laughing at, it really did feel nice.

You're kinda cool, Clay.
