Quick A/N before I start, at the top is another outfit option for Emmaline so you can pick whichever outfit you like the best. Plz let me know which outfit you want in the comments, put O1 for the first outfit and O2 for the second. Also Fyi I'm not using the actual dialog from the movie, mostly because I'm to lazy to go back and rewatch it. Okay that's all now on with the story :)
A soft blue glow fills the room as the news reporter starts broadcasting the battle between the heroics and the aliens. I watch, my eyes filled with tears threatening to spill, as miracle guy is taken along with the rest of the heroics. I stifle a sob and lean back into my chair. I don't even notice that my head is resting on wildcards shoulder until I feel his arms wrap around me in a comforting hug. I smile up at him gratefully before looking down at the desk and tuning out the rest of the broadcast
When the broadcast ends I'm still so focused on tuning out the rest of the world, that I barely register miss Granada's announcement. Soon after the room is enveloped into noise once again and I find myself looking towards missy, who seems to be trying to get everyone's attention.
"GUYS!" I shout and All heads turn towards me "missy is clearly trying to tell us something and sitting here talking over her isn't helping!"
Everyone shrugs and turns towards missy looking expectant
She sighs before continuing with her previous statement "thank you for that Em" I smile at her gratitude and the nickname as she continues "as I was saying, we need to get out of here... like now"
I look at her confused and ask "why? didn't Miss Granada just tell us to stay put"
"Yes but look" she says showing everyone ojo's iPad "ojo drew all of these"
"So she draws what she see's big deal" wildcard interrupts
"Yea except she drew these things five minutes before they happened, ojo's power isn't that she can draw, her power is drawing the future!" Missy responds with excitement
Wildcard sighs before saying "okay? Great. Good for ojo, I still don't see why we need to leave"
"Look" missy starts, turning to another drawing on the tablet. A chorus of gasps were heard as people began to realize that the drawing was in fact a picture of wildcard being kidnapped by aliens coming out of the vent in the far corner of the room "the aliens know where we are and their coming for us next which means we need an escape plan"
A murmur of ascent passed through the crowd and after a few protests from wildcard, we finally had a plan
yay their escaping soon :) I need more inspiration so if you have any ideas of how the story should continue, I'm open to requests in the comments. That's all XoXo Adelaide <3
