We had all Been training like crazy to prepare for the sports festival, dad was training izuku while I was training on my own, my stamina was at an all time high and my strength and speed were far beyond what they were before, all my wounds had healed and I was ready for the festival
Y/n: time to go
I walked out and made my way to UA, on my way there I helped out a few people before getting to the stadium, I walked into the changing room and got my gym uniform on, I walked into the waiting room and saw everyone either sat down or stood talking to each other when todoroki walked up to me
Todoroki: y/n I know who you are and will do everything In my power to crush you in the festival
Y/n: where did this come from todoroki?
Todoroki: my desire to win
Y/n: alright then, I'll still beat you
Bakugou: you might win against him but to me your nothing!
Y/n: egotistical as always...
Lida: you three stop fighting, save that for later, we need to move out!
We all walked into the stadium and lined up, mic announced all the other classes and we all stood waiting as midnight, the chief umpire, started
Midnight: quiet everyone! welcome to the first years sports festival! Today the students you see before me will push their bodies and spirits to their limit and beyond! I would like to invite katsuki bakugou to the stage for the students pledge!
We all gasped and watched as he walked up with his hands in his pockets as If he was bored
Bakugou: I just wanna say... I'm gonna win
Everyone: I knew he'd say that!!!
Y/n: time to break his ego
Midnight: now, for the first event!
She spun a randomiser which landed on obsticale race
Midnight: in this event the students will run a 4km track around the stadium but there will be obsticales which will slow you down, the first one back here is the winner, now line up!
We all lined up at the starting line and got ready to run
Midnight: get set!
I activated one for all and got ready to dash forward
Midnight: go!
I dashed forwards passing everyone and getting out the tunnel before todoroki froze it, I looked back and saw a few from my class and a few from others rushing forward to take the top spot, I turned back and dashed forward faster
Kirishima: how are we gonna catch him?!
Bakugou: I don't care who he is! He ain't beating me!
I heard explosions and then saw bakugou neck and neck with me
Y/n: bakugou...
Bakugou: y/n....
I looked forward and saw the robots ahead, I dash faster and jumped up
Y/n: Detroit!! Smash!!
I destroyed the zero pointer in one punch and then blasted myself towards another, todoroki froze it and when I hit it the ice shattered, I crashed down into the ground and then started running again, I could hear todoroki and Bakugou behind me, I kept running and got to the pit and jumped half way across it, I landed and looked back seeing todoroki crossing the ropes and bakugou exploding his way across, I activated one for all and blasted forward again, I got to the other side and kept running, when I got half way in-between the 2nd and last obstacle I saw bakugou rush past me, he stepped on a land mine but was unaffected, I ran faster and muscled my way through the mine field, I ran faster and faster, when we got close to the end of the mine field izuku came crashing past us, he planted his feet on my shoulders and flipped forward smashing a piece of metal into some mines launching him forward, I got the dirt out of my eyes and saw him get close to the finish, I dashed forward and almost got past him but he got in a second before I did, todoroki and Bakugou got in soon after
Y/n: nice job izuku
Izuku: thanks
Bakugou: bastard! Why did you pass me?!
Y/n: thats the aim of a race dumbass
Bakugou: tch! I'll kill you!
Y/n: go on then, try me!
He squared up to me but I towered over his 5ft 7in frame
Y/n: try it
Bakugou: bastard... Even if your all mights son... That won't stop me!
He walked away pissed, I turned to a shaking izuku and held his shoulder
Y/n: are you good?
Izuku: y-yeah
Midnight: now! Everyone has returned, the top 42 students will go on to the second round!!
