A long, long time ago, when there was no nature or water, no day or night, there was only one primordial being. This being is called Khaos (nope this person isn't as crazy as it sounds). From Khaos came Gaia (Earth), Tartarus (Underworld), and Eros (Love). Erebus (Darkness) and Nyx (Night) came from him too. After this, Khaos disappears... forever. So Erebus and Nyx had 2 children, Aether (Light) and Hemera (Day). Meanwhile, Gaia creates her own partner, Ouranos, who is the sky to her Earth. And they have many, MANY children. Their first set was 12 Titans, who I guess you can call the perfect ones. The girls are Mnemosyne, Tethys, Theia, Phoebe, Rhea, and Themis. And the boys are Crius, Oceanus, Hyperion, Coeus, Cronus, and Iapetos. Their second set was the Cyclopes. They were huge, strong, one-eyed beings .There were 3 brothers Arges, Steropes, and Brontes... and they were really good blacksmiths. And lastly, the Hecatonchires (pronounced as: Heck-a-ton-ker-ees), and they are also known as the Hundred-Armed Monster (yeah so they have 100 arms and 50 heads) and these brothers are called Kottos, Gyges, and Briareus. What a happy family (・∀・)
