Davina's POV: It's been two days since Kol told me I should run away. I thought he was crazy. After he told me that day, I just got up and walked away. Didn't even say anything. I mean, it's crazy, right?
Of course I don't want to marry some random guy, especially for their riches, but I can't just up and leave my life behind. My whole life is here. In this town. In this castle. My father is here.
I can't just leave. "Davina?" I hear my father call out. "One second!" I call out. I get up and quickly gets dressed. I put on a long purple and silver dress with off the shoulder long sleeves. And with my hair, I curl it, then twists it a bit in the back together.

After I'm dressed, I leave my room, walking down the stairs to where my father is. "Yes father?" I ask as I enter the room, but then my eyes widen as soon as I see him. "Do you know this man?" He asks me.
"Kol?!" I say in a shocking tone. What the hell is he doing here?! "This man claims to be a friend. He showed up at the palace doors and told the guards he was your friend." My father says and I sigh.
"Don't worry father, I'll deal with him" I say glaring at Kol. "Good. And after, I'd like to have a chat, Davin." He says and I look at him, with a fake smile. "Of course father" I say before he walks away.
I walk up to Kol and hits him on the arm rather harshly. "Ow! What was that for?!" He shouts and I glare at him. I grab his wrist and pulls him outside. "Who the hell do you think you are to just show up at my palace?!" I yell at him once we're outside.
"Well I needed to talk to you. And seeing how you ghosted me, this was my only shot." He says and I sigh. "I can't run away, Kol. This is my home, my family, my life. You wouldn't understand." I say making him scoff.
"Trust me, darling, I understand more than you think." He says making me raise an eyebrow. "And how's that?" I ask, crossing my arms. "Look, if you don't want to go, fine. But don't let your father tell you who to marry. Royalty or not, it should be your choice." He says before walking away.
I sigh as I watch him leave, maybe he's right. Maybe I should leave. "Kol! Wait!" I yell as I run to him. He stops and turns to me. "You're right, but Kol, i don't want to be alone." I say with a frown as He puts a hand under my chin.
"You won't be alone, Darling, I'll go with you." He says as my eyes widen. "What?! I can't let you do that! Your family's here!" I yell at him. "Please, my family doesn't give a rats ass if I leave, I'm what you call a black sheep" he says as I frown.
"I'm sorry to hear that" I say but he shoots me a smile and cups my face in his hands. "Don't apologize, love. Just let me tag along on your little journey." He says making me giggle. "Okay, fine." I say with a smile.
"We shall leave tomorrow at dawn." I say to him making him nod. "I'll be there" he says as he walks away, and soon, I leave too.
