Yes she's walking in through the gates,
With the bridesmaids in tow,
Yes she's drunk and in a woozy state,
And she's missing the bridal glow.
She then walks to the groom,
Puts her hand in his,
And gives a drunken smile.
Then she turns to the priest,
Saying - "let it begin"
While her friends in a corner cry.
She vows - "baby tonight this ring ties me,
Ah yes I'm no more free,
I'm here for mum and daddy,
Even I know you'll never love me.
Honey yes now I'm your wife,
Give a smile and kiss me please,
Sadly I'm a part of your life,
Now I'm but your bitch on a leash!"
Yes she's waiting for the wedding cake,
As the ring shines on her finger,
She feels like a body tied to a stake,
And the feeling of regret lingers.
The groom eyes her in distaste,
As she winks drunkenly his way,
Her in laws call this party a waste,
While her friends and family pray..
She sings - "both my wings have been torn,
But to mum and daddy I had sworn,
This cuff on my finger weighs a ton,
Signifying I'm not the one.
Honey yes now I'm your wife,
Give me a smile and kiss me please,
Sadly I'm a part of your life,
Now I'm but your bitch on a leash!
