Description: "it was great meeting up with Laura again and I'm impressed with what she managed to make with Lynx's Sight. Very similar to Ryad's eyenox, Laura with this visor can't necessary ping like Ryad can but Laura can still follow the trail and be aware of how recent it is. She originally envisioned this to find missing persons in Canada but overtime she understood the necessity of finding possible hostiles.

BACKGROUND
Laura Belmont grew up in a mostly french speaking neighborhood but learned to speak English for the sake of her mother's side of the family. Laura for most of her childhood into her mid teens was rather chaotic doing what usual teens do and getting into trouble but her partying nature eventually resulted in her being with child. Her parents were outraged by this and tried to force into having an abortion but Laura couldn't bring herself to do it and tried going through the pregnancy but unfortunately lost her child cause of a miscarriage.

To help her grieve, she joined Royal Canadian Mounted Police unit and served three good years as an officer. During those three years, Laura had met with troubled teenage girls who were young and pregnant like she was back then, she would support these teens however she could and kept a close eye on them becoming a second mother of sorts. She then had joined the ERT and right away dealt with high risk operations such as Wolf's Bite where she and Sebastien Cote codename Buck took down a group of terrorists and became friends afterwards.

After a year of knowing each other, Laura and Sebastien decided to start an incredibly private relationship and had their daughter Nora a year later. The reason for this privacy for the safety of themselves and their daughter as they don't even tell their colleagues about this and live on secluded land with no neighbors. Laura would still continue to work in ERT while Sebastien would join the JTF2 as Laura would have to be the main parent for their Nora.

A couple years later Laura and other members of the ERT would be sent to Spain to train with their police unit, during this Laura would meet and become friends with specialist Mira and Jackal as they would be the only ones she'd tell about her personal life as a mother.

PSYCHOLOGICAL
"Ms Belmont proved to be very concerned as she values her privacy a lot but I assured her that I had no intentions of revealing her family life to other people. Her desire for simplicity is something that I rarely see in a person, she went on saying it's one of the reasons she started a relationship with Sebastien as he's simple and straight forward which she says is a lot more than she say for a couple operatives here.

Despite being simple, Laura is capable of understanding the complexities behind a person such as why terrorist do what they do or why they feel the need to be the center of attention using Ace as an example saying it's clear he's always been given attention as a child and now tries to stay the spotlight. I was impressed with her conclusion that I'm considering on making her my assistant so she can understand those that I can't and she joked saying she better get extra pay.

Laura while unintentionally displays motherly wisdom and sometimes affection as she had a long discussion with Lion about his son and what he can do to be a better parent, but she still has bits of her youth still with her as she's admitted to drinking with the Russians and becoming a good friend amongst them. Laura honestly gets along with most people with the exception of Ela as she gets annoyed when Ela remarks about how she should stick to family life instead of slowing everyone down, from what I hear Ela is still seeing Doc about her jaw hurting from one of her and Laura's brief scuffles."
