This time it isn't just about the feeling of love. This month our prompt is about independence in love. In a relationship. Or from a relationship. That's on you, writer, but that is the theme. And we can't wait to see what you cook up.
Your partner felt stifled with you, and after a messy breakup, here you are. You've been feeling terrible, and healing very slowly, but a moment comes, that finally teaches you how to love yourself and your independence? Or, here's this one - you're married. Or you were. In a relationship that was sucking you dry. But finally after a long tiresome back and forth, you're free. You're divorced. It's the day it's gone official. You aren't married anymore, and you're ecstatic. How do you celebrate your independence now? Here's another one. One of you gives too much. One takes too much. And giving forever gets tiring. After getting yourself out of that comfort of having someone, you've decided you don't feel like yourself anymore. So you'll find a way to assert independence. Maybe you leave your partner. Maybe you just have a good talk to draw some new dynamics in your relationship, and come out stronger together, because all you needed was a good talk.
But that is the theme. You can use one of the three plotlines mentioned here, combine them, or make your own one. It must have the theme of independence. Freedom.
