( Disclaimer:This is a writing prompt that is supposed to be only one shot but I made it 2 parts though. ) Vox and Alastor were locked in a room and forced to talk things out and maybe fix some things. Because they can never get out if they don't. But it's quite difficult when they are two narcissistic overlords who have some egoistical issues and have some trauma to deal with.

When the man she loves is about to marry someone else, she does the unthinkable - she goes to stop the wedding. But timing is cruel. Who would have thought arriving a day late would change everything? My second entry into the Open Novella Contest. A Frankenstory made of many prompts... can you spot them all? Each chapter has a video before it. You don't have to listen. It's just an additional detail that might enhance the reading experience. How can you yearn for someone who was never yours to begin with? I wonder. This is neither a love story nor something out of a fantasy. Everything written here is true and painfully real. It is a collection of moments, memories, and emotions that sought refuge in words when they could no longer remain inside my heart. These pages tell the story of quiet admiration, impossible longing, relentless yearning, and the strange comfort of loving someone who may never know they were loved at all. To the man behind my ink-you may never recognize yourself in between this lines, but every word exists because, at one point, you made me feel something worth writing about. You stirred emotions so profound that I had no choice but to turn them into pages. And perhaps, in the end, that was enough. Because while I may never have had the courage to tell you how much you meant to me, these words became my way of letting the world know.

You wake up in your childhood bed with a bruise on your forehead and no memory of how you got home. The friends who celebrated you the night before all have different versions of what happened. The more you search for the truth, the worse the migraines become. Your mother warned you about them. Now you have to decide which is more dangerous: losing your memory or recovering it. The dream always ended the same way: with the salt-spray of an ocean I'd never visited and the warmth of a hand I couldn't quite grasp. He never had a face-just a silhouette cut out of the moonlight-but his voice was a low rumble that vibrated in my chest. "Find me," he'd whisper. "Before the clocks stop." When I woke up, the silence of my apartment felt like a physical weight. I checked my pulse, my skin still buzzing from a touch that didn't exist. I told myself it was just stress. I told myself that "Thorne" was a name I'd probably seen on a billboard or a dusty law book. But then I saw him.
