I sit at the table alone with coffee in my hand.

My eye bags are as dark as the pitch black sky.

The only light that's keeping the kitchen from
becoming unlighted is the hanging light above the round table.

I stare at the clock on the damage wall in front of me, watching it strike 2am.

I rub my face with my hand, frustrated.

I get startled by hearing the door slam.

I watch as the the boy with dirty blonde hair walks in looking rough with a beer in his hand.

Y/n: Oh Vinnie...
I say with sadness in my voice

I watch as Vinnie ignores me and walks right to our bedroom.

The smell of alcohol and smoke takes over the apartment.

I sit in the round sink in the restroom looking at my tired self.

I was disappointed in myself.

I close my eyes.

How could I let someone do this to me?

Is this who I wanted to be?

All these thoughts came rushing to my head making me start rethinking everything.

I look up into the mirror seeing him in the doorway.

Vinnie: I have to go grab something from someone, i'll be back.
He says quietly

I watch as he walks away.

Tears stream down my face.

I hear the door close and I walk out the bathroom into the pitch black hall.

I open the bedroom door seeing the room looking like a jungle.

I lay down and stare at the ceiling.

10 minutes later

I hear Vinnie come in and I sit up.

He lays down next to me and I lay back down.

I stare at him and he cuddles up against me.

Thoughts run through my head the whole night.
