i was laying in bed when i heard a knock on my door. i remembered it was locked and i groaned due to the fact that i had to get out of bed.
i got up and opened the door to see madi with a small box in her hand
"uh hey?" i said confused due to the fact that she just stood there silently
"put this on" she help out a blindfold
"jeez madi, i didn't take you for the freaky type" i joked
"just put it on dumbass" she said throwing the blindfold at me
" i need help putting it on dumbass" i said mocking her
she took the blindfold and i turned around and moved my hair out of the way
her cold fingers touched the back of my neck and it gave me goosebumps. i swear to god if i'm falling for this girl, i'll give up in life.
she finished tying it and she was leading me down the stairs, keep in mind i had no makeup on, sweats, a tank top and some banana socks. so in other words i looked very mUsTy
"your not gonna throw me in the ocean right" i said as we reached the bottom of the stairs
"depends, can you swim" she joked
"haha, very funny" i said as i felt a cold breeze hit my arm meaning we were outside, i grabbed madi's hand and intertwined our fingers
i felt her squeeze my hand
"you can take it off now" she said as i took it off and adjusted my eyes to see a car
i looked at madi confused and she opened the little box and handed me car keys
my jaw dropped
"for me?" i asked as she nodded her head
i hugged her tight.
"happy early birthday!" i hear sab say
i look at sab, i don't wanna burst her bubble but my birthday was 2 months ago.
i just smiled at her
"i have a problem tho" i frowned
"i do not know how to drive" i said as they all looked at me like i was crazy
"girl- your almost 18" eva said looking at me shocked
i laughed
"i know" i said as they all looked at me in shock
"i'll teach you dumbass" madi said in a exited tone
great.

it had been two hours and i sucked, i almost killed us, we didn't crash but we were close.
in conclusion i suck at driving
madi made me pull over before we died
"what the fuck was i thinking, giving you a car, your the most reckless person i know" she began to rant and i just sat there
"madi, shut up" i said but she ignored me and continued to rant
i swear to god, if i have to kiss her-
wait, i'm a genius, if i kiss her and she doesn't kiss back, i'll just tell her that i needed her to shut up. i'm so smart.
"...and don't get me fucking started on when you went to the stoplig-"
i kissed her and to my surprise she kissed back, the kiss depend and i'm not exaggerating when i say we had a full makeout session for like 15 minutes
we pulled away due to loss of air
"um, sorry about that" my awkward self said
"don't apologize, um that was um good" she said avoiding my eyes
"do you wanna drive" i asked due to the fact that i almost killed us the last time i drove
"um yea sure" we awkwardly switched sides and she bean driving home.
the whole car ride was silent and when we pulled up we stayed in the car
"um, uh thank for uh teaching me how to um drive" i said in the most awkward way ever
why am i like this
"um we don't have to talk about it if you don't wanna but if you also wanna talk about it we can" she said in the most awkward way possible
"ok, um do you like me because i think i like you and if you don't that's also really fine" i said as i looked at her in the eyes
"yeah, um i do like you despite our incapability to have a normal conversation" she said as we both started slightly laughing
"that was very awkward" i admitted
"so what are we?" madi asked, it was a little too soon to make it official so talking?
"talking" i stated but it sounded more like question
"yeah, i like that" she said as we locked eyes again,
i fell for this girl, very unexpectedly
