"Oh fuck" I mumbled under my breath
Maybe she was also drunk and maybe forgot about it all.
She was on her phone she didn't see me, so maybe she would be on her phone the whole time and not notice me?
My manager walked in
"Oh hey y/n, sorry I was late, traffic. Um this is Dev, Eva, Sab, Emma and Anna" she said pointing to them
Anna. That's her name. Pretty
They all smiled and I smiled back
"Nice to meet you" Anna said as she smirked
Oh god.
....
The meeting was almost done but I could barely focus. What are the fucking odd's that this is the person that i'm meeting.
"So y/n, I understand you might need some time to decide if you want to move, but I'll need to know by the end of the week" my manager said as she stood up
Wait, WHAT.
She looked at her watch
"I have another meeting, thank you for sitting her ladies."
"Bye" she said as she walked out of the room
"So we're gonna go get some food, do you wanna come" dev said snapped out of my thoughts
"Um, lemme see if I have anything today" I said looking at my phone
I know for a fact, that I have nothing going on, but they don't need to know that
"Um yeah, I'm free all day" I said putting my phone down
"Ok, um I'm gonna go get a sweatshirt and my bag, I'll be right back" Sab said as she grabbed
"Um yeah me too , I'll be right back" dev said going upstairs
Nice house.
"Um thank you guys for taking me home last night, um I was really wasted and I wasn't thinking straight-" I literally wasn't thinking straight. (Idk if anyone is gonna get that, but If you did, I love you)
"It's okay, we can forget about it." Anna said, Eva just nodded her head
"So what are you think about moving here?" Eva asked
"Honestly, it sounds fun, but I just don't know" I said honestly
Someone's phone buzzed and we all checked
"Oh- it's me, be right back" Eva said as she walked out"
"How do you feel" Anna broke the silence
"I mean from last night" she answered my confusion
"Oh, I just took an Advil, and I'm pretty fine" I said
"Do you wanna go sit down" she asked, walking out of the room
"Sure" as I followed her out of the room
We sat down on the couch and we were kinda close
We locked eyes, and I fought every urge to kiss her.
But I stopped fighting when she looked at my lips and started leaning in, we paused right before we kissed and pulled away when someone walked in.
"Oh um hey" Eva said sitting next to Anna
"Um hey" I said awkwardly
We sat there in silence for about 15 seconds when someone walked in
"Ready?" Sab said as we all walked outside
"We won't all fit in the car" dev said with a worried expression on her face
"I can take my car" I offered
"Anna should go with you, you know so we won't be all squished" Emma said smiling
Did she just set us up?
"Um yeah, come on" I said as we walked to my car
We got in the car and I passed her the aux
"So, do you listen to girl in red" I asked acting clueless
Just because you listen to girl in red doesn't mean you like girls but it's like an indirect question if you like girls
"Um well, it depends who's asking" she said scrolling through Spotify
"I'm asking" I said as I looked at the directions on my phone
"Um, then yeah I do."she said putting her phone down
"Oh, okay. Cool " i mumbled
I don't even think that I could have a chance with her because we might live together and i doubt we won't break up, don't get me wrong I'm 85% sure I'm caching feelings but I'm just expecting the worst so I don't get disappointed.
We pulled up the restaurant and I started parallel parking, I get so stressed because I could feel Anna's eyes on me. Parallel parking makes me so fucking stressed because I suck at it
I finally got parked and I began unbuckling my seatbelt
"Ok, so before you go. I know we kinda just met. But do you think that you like me in any way whatsoever? Because I don't wanna get caught up in a one sided situation." She said as I went deep in thought
Did I like her or was my mind playing games on me?
"I do." I said looking at her baby blue eyes, god.
"Oh, okay good. Let's go eat." She smiled and walked out
I could went help but smile.
Maybe that drunk accident turned out pretty great.
