"I'll get used to it sooner or later. Either way, he'll probably find another playmate." Y/N remarked hopefully. Yesterday the boy had took her sneakers from her locker, so the H/C haired girl had to walk home shoeless.
She took another bite of the rice cake and chewed on it for a while, forgetting to swallow it. She was eating very slowly, still deep in thought.
"Hey Y/N, we never got to ask you about your life before this school." Marco said from the other side of Jean, "I'm genuinely curious-- though you don't have to say it if it's too personal!" The freckled boy cleared up.
