This is one of the ten commandments and one of the greatest. In the Bible it also states that you can not serve two masters, you will hate one and love the other, you can not serve or love God and mammon(the world). There is a middle-of-the-road to everything EXCEPT God, it is either you love him wholeheartedly or you don't, either you serve him or you don't, either you believe or you don't. There is no in-between there.
You must live God with your WHOLE heart, not 1/4 not 2/3 but your whole heart!
