The moment Miya stepped through the portal, it was all eyes on her. She stood in the middle of the dimly lit bar surrounded by Villains, old and new members. There was some sneers around the room and looks of distain — besides Toga Himiko who latched onto Miya's side in a warm welcome.
"I'm so glad to see you again." she rejoices, resting her head of blonde locks on Miya's shoulder, and arms wrapped around her tight body. Really, it was just an excuse to be close to her, to be able to feel her muscles under the thick fabric of her hero suit. Close enough to smell her blood.
(How dare Shigaraki recruit a Hero.)
"Me too." Miya patted Toga's head. The lining of her suit was glowing very dimly, not enough to be noticeable, but the illuminance was there.
It made her feel small being surrounded by these top notch super villains (despite her skill set) especially the gigantic man hiding beneath a black cloak that draped to the floor, obscuring his massive physic. His head was brushing the ceiling panels, and his broad form took up most of the room of the back brick wall. He was glaring down at the hero behind the darkness that the hood provided him; one eye glowing red.
"So it's true." he says deeply. "You recruited a Hero?"
Miya's dark eyes glanced up and down the tall man. "I recruited my damn self." she remarks. "Who are you?"
"Muscular."
Miya snorted.
Spinner stepped forward, green scaly arms crossed, and lizard eyes staring at her behind a white bandana mask. "What's so funny?" he spat.
Miya shrugged. What unimaginative names. "Nothing." she says, resting an arm around Toga, welcoming the young girl into her side. Because like her, Toga was just a girl surrounded by larger men. But the one who would be sure to give her nightmares was a tall man dressed in a black straitjacket that only leaves his mouth exposed.
The suit is held together by black restraints decorated with red spikes. These same restraints connect to metal clamps that cover his head and keeps his lips open, causing him to drool. Other straps go across his torso, waist, and the top of his boots.
Miya gestured to the horrific sight with wide eyes. "Oh no." she says softly. "He takes the cake for creepiest dude I've ever seen." then she turned to Dabi standing by his usual spot at the jukebox. "Sorry."
Twice, who wore a brown paper bag with eyeholes cut into, over his head, started chuckling. "I like her... she's funny... don't encourage it, dude."
"Well, I'm just glad she could join us." Magne stated.
"Recruiting a Hero is just the plot twist we need." replied Compress, standing by the metal door. "Just imagine the ratings once this goes public."
"Public?" repeats Miya, cocking an eyebrow.
Not once. NOT ONCE did Miya stop to think what would happen if the news about her joining the League of Villains went public. Sure, The Commission would find out eventually. But the thought never occurred as to what would happen WHEN that happened. How would her parents react? How would Hawks feel?
"Well, what did you think would happen, princess?" laughed Giran, standing behind the bar counter with Kurogiri. He flicked the lighter in his hand to life, and grazed the orange flame over the cigarette resting between his teeth.
"I told you, don't call me that stupid name."
Giran blew a puff of smoke into the air, creating a haze in the small area, and the terrible lingering smell of the stick in his mouth. Miya's nose scrunched, and the corner of her lip curled.
