Dabi turned his head, narrowing blue eyes at Miya who stared at the far wall. His fists clenched between his legs. A large feeling filled his chest like a helium balloon ready to burst. She was letting Hawks in WAY too easy, and for what reason? Because they were 'childhood best friends?' That won't fly with Dabi. He was never going to trust Hawks for each mile he could run in a lifetime.
"Well see about that." mocked Dabi.
Miya's eyebrows pulled together. "What's your problem?" she snapped at him.
"You and Hawks are my problem."
There was a loud scoff and a laugh from Miya. Her shoulders lifted in jumps with her laughter. "I'm your problem?" she spat at him. "Then why don't you fuck off? Oh, wait, you're just jealous of Hawks, aren't you!?"
"Why the hell would I ever be jealous of HIM?"
"Because I'm closer to him than you - I don't know!?"
"I don't know about you, Miya, but if you were closer with him then you wouldn't have joined me. You'd have stayed a fucking sorry little Hero, sucking his dick like a slut instead." he growled, getting to his feet, and roughly snatching his coat back. The leather whipped Miya's head and roughed her damp yellow hair. She pushed her hair back out of her face. "You know exactly why I joined the League, TOUYA!" she shouted.
Dabi twisted on his heel and reached out a hand for Miya. She leaned back in time, and kicked him in the chest sending him onto his ass. She rolled off the crate, in nothing but underwear, keeping the crate between she and Dabi. He was quick to get to his feet forgetting about his coat on the ground.
"You'll pay for that!"
Blue flames fired from his body and heat swelled inside the warehouse. It washed over Miya's body within seconds and a wall of Dark Matter erected to shield herself. She flattened her palm and the wall dispersed, chittering and churning like shards of glass, it surrounded Dabi in a broken sphere. Sparks of Dark Matter damaged the concrete pillars, biting away at the foundations of the ground and ceiling. Leaving circular marks and large missing chunks of cement.
"You act like a big bad Villain, but when it comes to fighting you're just a pussy bitch." Miya snapped her fingers, and the Dark Matter stopped twisting around Dabi. He threw out his arm and a wall of blue fire engulfed the Dark Matter.
Miya moved her hands aside, and the Dark Matter followed her commands; taking the flames with it and extinguishing both powers. "I can tell when you get jealous because you get all possessive and start acting like an asshole."
"What the hell do you know about me?" he marched towards Miya. A dark look in his bright blue eyes.
"I know everything about you, Touya." Miya kept stepping back, keeping a distance.
"Keep saying my name like that."
"Or what, pussy bitch?"
"Come at me."
Miya launched herself at Dabi. She got under his arm and kicked his leg out from under him. His back hit the ground and he gasped for breath. Miya straddled his chest, pinning his left arm under her foot, and his other with her hand.
"You can't even defend yourself." she teased, hovering above his face. "Don't think for one second that I trust Hawks. I know he's up to something because he would never do something like this without the Commission ordering him to. And I'm the only person who can get the truth out of him, so until then, Dabi, let me do what I was trained to do."
"Oh yeah, and what's that?"
"Take down the bad guys."
"We are the bad guys." he growled. A small burst of blue flame forced Miya to jump up and let go of her hold on Dabi. She yelped as the flame caressed her skin in one fell swoop of sudden hot pain, shooting all the way up her arm to her brain.
