jade and cara's car
"jade... i cant believe that happened" cara said in shock after hearing jade's recount of what happened
"i know, he's really so amazing, more than i ever could i have imagined," jade agreed, "let's get going, our flight is in an hour"
"well tell me more!" cara exclaimed, "i'll tell you about that hot bassist i talked to, abigail " she laughed
"it's really nothing! well, more than nothing, but its not something... yet" she lied
the truth is, jade is truly intoxicated by the signer, everything from his brown curls to the toned muscles that was revealed when he gave her his jacket.
joshua's tour bus
jade... she's the only thought that's going through his head, her beautiful brown eyes upon closer look, have sparks of green and yellow laced in with the deep brown color and her waist length silky hair is brown with natural high lights from the sun and the way it wraps around the curves of her thin body-
joshua is knocked out of his daydream by cameron
"hey dude, what do you want?" he asked
"i'll get fries and a soda, thanks" joshua replied, still in a daze
"are you okay?" cameron asks as he sat down next to him
"yeah, i met a girl, jade" joshua replied with a smile
"did you get her number? or her instagram?" cameron questions, as the smile on joshua's face fades, "snapchat? email?"
joshua lets out a sigh and looks at him, "no. no i didn't"
"josh man, that's not good" cameron states, and pats his shoulder, "you'll firgue it out man, let's get some sleep," he says as he walks to his bunk, "san francisco tomorrow! woo!" he shouts
concert
its 30 minutes till the show, just like yesterday, the girls got there early and got their spot, right in the middle and on barricade
backstage, joshua was nervous, trying to sneak a look at the audience, but he couldn't see her,
"i don't think she's here" joshua sighed, after poking his head out of the curtain
"dude, if she's here we put on a great show, and if she's not, we put on a great show, just chill out." cameron assured him, "we're on in 5"
joshua went thru the same routine as the past night, in ears in, deep breaths, and the chant with the crew before he steps on stage and starts singing. he looks around the crowd as he says "hello san fran-cis-coooo" making sure to draw out each part of the word, the crowd cheers and thats when he sees jade, dressed in a sage green satin slip mini dress with the same white converse as yesterday, and a black zip up hoodie, joshua's black zip up hoodie. he smiled at her and she smiled back, through out the whole concert, they had a few more of the stolen moments.
again, half way through the last song, in the single moment when he had his back turned, the girls slipped out and made their way to the stage door. while jade waited for joshua, cara waited for abigail.
tonight, joshua was out faster than the night before, thankfully, less fans were out than the night before. after about ten minutes, the fans scattered, and cara and abigail had gone off somewhere, leaving the two alone.
"i told you i'd meet you here" joshua's raspy voice told jade as he smirked, "you look beautiful"
jade blushed and said "wow starting off strong, what happened to asking how are you?"
"well, jade, how are you?" he laughed as jade grinned
"i'm okay, just saw a boring concert" jade jokingly mocked, "how about you?"
joshua laughed, "i'm doing great, now that i'm with you," while joshua was putting on a confident face, in his head he was nervous, "can i have your phone number?" he blurted out, breaking his persona
jade, of course, said yes, adding on a "i though that you would never ask" and the two laughed while they keep talking for about ten more minutes,
"tomorrow i have the day off, i'll be in the city all day, and i would love it if you came with me" joshua asked as he ran his hand thru his hair
"i'd love to" she replied, trying to cover up the massive smile that her face wanted to break into
after they got the details worked out, joshua would come to pick her up at 10, and he assured her that he had a plan
"can i walk you to your car?" he asks, honestly, he doesn't want the night to end
"of course" jade as they started the walk to her car, cara had texted her earlier that she gone to a bar with abigail and was already at the hotel
as they made the short walk to the car, they held hands and talked about the next day, to jade, it felt like she could talk to him forever
"goodnight jade" joshua said as he opened the door to her car
"goodnigth josh" jade said as she started to take off his jacket, "here, this is yours"
joshua stopped her, "you can keep it, drive safe"
after about five minutes, they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways, and once joshua got back to his tour bus, he started planning the perfect date for them.
