It's been almost an hour since Conner was supposed to pick Evelyn up. 7:38. Evelyn turned her gaze from the clock in her room to the ceiling, laying flat on her bed. She couldn't help but think the worst, why is Conner so late? is he ok?
Evelyn was lost in thought and she didn't even realize her parents enter the room. When she looked up she noticed they were both dressed really nice.
"Are you okay sweetie?" her mom spoke softly. They both smiled weakly at her.
"Yeah." she pogged through the pain. "I'm sure he'll be here any minute." she smiled, almost like she was trying to convince herself too.
"Well if you're sure you're ok..." her dad started.
"I am." Evelyn cut him off.
"Would you mind if me and your mother went out for awhile? We thought you'd be gone earlier so we planned to go out tonight." her father said almost guiltily.
"Sure guys! Go have fun! After all its Valentine's day. I'll be gone soon anyway so you don't have to worry." she smiled sincerely.
"Thanks honey. We love you!"
"Love you too." her parents smiled and walked out the door. In seconds Evelyn heard the front door close and their car pull out of the driveway. She was all alone.
Ainsley POV
Where the hell is Donovan?! She thought to herself. I hope he's ok... I wonder if Evelyn made it to the dance yet. Well duh she's having a fun time with Conner. Ainsley couldn't help but feel like she wanted it to be her there instead.
You know what, I'm not going to be late to the dance. I'll go pick up Donovan myself. She got up from her bed, grabbed her parents keys, and started driving off toward Donovan's house.

She pulled up in his driveway and walked up angrily to the door, struggling to walk up the stairs in her big dress. She knocked on the door but got no response. She tried the door and noticed it was unlocked and figured it was ok to just go in.
His parents weren't home, she thought they must've gone out for Valentine's Day. Suddenly she heard something from Donovan's room.
She quietly walked up the stairs (she had experience going upstairs to Donovan's room😩). She got closer and heard...moaning?!??! Donovan was cheating on her?!???! She bouta give this bitch a woopin.
The door was cracked and she peeked inside. She couldn't believe what she saw.
