The clock hand moved in a set rhythm, the ticking filling the air as the girl leaned back in her chair- a sigh leaving her lips. It was currently 3pm, and her friend promised to meet her at their usual spot at 2:30pm. But alas...she was late again.
"Are you ready to order yet, miss?" The waitress asked timidly, and she smiled in response. Normally, she'd wait. But today she was absolutely starving- so she just decided to order for her friend in advance.
"Yes! I'll have one order of preposterous peace for the goat lady, and I'll just take some bamboo shoot soup. Thank you" She smiled as the waitress quickly noted down their order before scurrying away, leaving her alone again. With another sigh, she sipped at the sweet tea in front of her. As she was about to preoccupy herself with something, the door burst open- and her beloved friend burst through.
"I-I'm so sorry for being late! I forgot about our date this afternoon..." Ganyu murmured, her blue eyebrows knitted in worry as the h/c haired girl shook her head, beckoning for her to come over.
"It wouldn't be my dear Ganyu without her forgetting stuff, would it?" (Y/N) teased as the girl sat beside her, her face still glum as she got comfortable. With a grin, she pushed a teacup towards the horned girl- instantly causing her to perk up.
"Tea?" She asked as Ganyu's amethyst eyes lit up, and she was quick to pick up the teacup and begin drinking. It was adorable how easy she was to cheer up, and as their food made its way towards them- she only lit up more.
