Chapter Seventeen

CAUGHT

Charlotte's Pov

I swear at the moment I felt my heart dropped on the floor

"Uh-"I was about to say something when he cutted me off by walking in front of me and grabbing my wrist

"Naughty"He whispered as he pulled me out from the kitchen with Dianne his Fiance calling out for him

"Damien where are you going?!" She yelled but Damien just ignored her

Walking in the hallway, I can feel my heart beating fast like it's on a marathon while he led me upstairs and it truly scares me

He stopped infront of his room and led me with him inside. Strong  Manly rich cologne hit my nose making me scrunch

"So why did you ran earlier? I was looking all over you" Damien said with serious tone

Not wanting to look at him, I just stared at the floor. tbh, I don't want him to know my reason. He needs to know it himself

Bad Guy

"I heard you"My cheeks heaten up as i lift my head and look at him who's smiling at me

"I uh...Sorry?"I blurred out without thinking. I was mesmerised at his smile.

Cute

"Oh Bella, Let's clean you now. You're in a mess" He said

My eyes widened having a thought that he will be in the shower with me

"N-no, I can manage. Thank you" I put on a small smile and look around the room

My eyes stopped when i saw my photo in his nightstand. It's my picture taken on my 18th birthday. I was holding a bonquet of red roses of flowers, wearing a white long dress in the garden

I was shocked, how did he have that?

I can feel Damien staring at me as he wondered where i was looking at. He must have followed my eye direction and walk towards it

With my eyes still focused on the picture that was now placed in his hands he lend it for me to hold

Slowly grabbing it, Tears start to fall from my eyes

I missed her

By just looking at the picture, memories of the past struck me like a thunder in my head

Did I make the right choice?
