PROMISES AND QUESTIONS

Charlotte's Pov

My eyes darted to the delicious babies infront of me making my mouth water by the smell. I don't know why there were many food in the table, Like chocolate pancakes,pizza,lasagna and many more. But I don't mind It's food

"What are you waiting gattina? Eat"I gulp when I felt his hands hugged my waist as I wiggle in his lap

I don't know but I do feel uncomfortable at the same the good by just sitting on his lap. But I can't eat properly since he was gripping into me as my chest met his making it hard for me to reach the spoon and fork on the table

"Can you let go of me? I don't actually feel comfortable eating in this position and I cannot reach the food since I am facing you"I softly said making him grip into my waist harder

I let out wince in pain as he gave out a sigh and remove his hands on my waist. So I take the opportunity to sit on the other seat beside him

Finally! I can eat in peace

He let out a deep laugh and run his hand on his hair making it more messy. There were some strands of hair that covers his eyes making him 100 times more handsome

"That's bad gattina. Sneaky huh?" I give him a smile and dig on my food. Once the chocolate pancake touch my tounge I let out a moan

It's super duper delicious!

I start to dig more and savour the food but stopped chewing when I saw his eyes on me. I swallow the food I was eating and drink the orange juice beside my plate

He must be disgusted at me

"So...why did you take me here?"I blurred out and wipe my lips with some tissue

"Because I want you"he said making me look at him in confusion

"To be your friend?"I asked making him grip into my thigh firmly and slowly caress my thigh with his thumb while looking at me with his dark eyes

"Yes. Why? Do you not want that?"I shooked my head

"You ordered someone to kidnapped me then you want to be friends?"I glared at him as he laugh

"I know I did that and that was intentional but I won't hurt you and I won't let anyone hurt you and I promise that"he said and place the hand that was caressing in my thigh to my cheek as he lean towards me

"Promise?"

"Promise bella. Now tell me. Why did you ran away? Is it because of your parents? Problems? "he said making my eyes widened in shock

How did he knew that?

"H-How did you kn-know that?"I stuttered

"I was just guessing...why?"

"Nothing"I whispered and look into my hands that were placed into my lap

"You know when you have some problems and can't seem to find a aay to fix it. Don't be shy and talk to me alright? I won't judge you bella"  lifting my head, my eyes met his dark eyes and it made me feel weak and shy

How could I even trust him when he is a complete new stranger to me? I just met him a few hours ago and he wants me to talk about why I ran away? Maybe he was different from the guy i met earlier in the woods

"So you aren't like the guy that i met in the woods? It was really sca-" I was cutted off when his hands were slammed into the table as he stand up

"Who was the guy you met in the woods? Who is he!?"my heart start to beat faster making my eyes blurred with tears

His eyes softened and he took the opportunity to relax and give out a breath and grab an empty glass and put some wine and drank it without hesitation

Once he was finished he sat down and grab my left hand and kiss my knuckles while looking into my eyes

My body reacted when his lips touched my knuckles giving me shivers

"I'm sorry amore I was just feeli- could you tell me who is th- no forget it, how about i put you to sleep? It's already getting late. Come on"he stands up and kisses my knuckles one more time before lifting me up in his arms

"Careful"I muttered while he snake one of his arms to my waist and one to my butt as I snake my arms into his neck for support

Placing my head in his chest, I let out a small yawn. My eyes were starting to close as he walk towards the stairs with me still in his arms. The last thing I knew before drifting into sleep is him kissing me on my forehead before I was placed in a soft bed
