Chapter 14,"Go Investigate!"

Shuichi plays with the scarf around his neck.
Everyone was seated on blankets on the grass outside of the main school building.Gathered together so close,it was so calm.
Kirumi was pouring everyone beverages she brought out of the school.

Kaede and Kiibo were sitting next to Shuichi on the same blanket.
It was like many picnicks in one area,like a camping ground.
Everyone forcing conversations,drinking beverages,sitting on blankets and...laughing.

"This is such a calming enviroment."

Kaede remarks,holding her empty cup firmly in her hand.
Kiibo frowns.

"Yeah.Everyone sitting together on the grass and chatting....so comfortable..."

Kiibo laughs sadly.
The air was still thick with despair.
Himiko and Shuichi were especially glum.
Neither of them would talk to anyone.

"Shuichi...cheer up.Let me get you something to drink."

Kaede smiles nervously,about to stand from the blanket she was sitting on.

"Ha....hahah...."

Shuichi laughs softly.
Kiibo and Kaede became nervous.

"Shuichi...?"

Kiibo mutters.
Shuichi grins evily...just like Kokichi.

"The killing game....just started..."

Shuichi mumbles,covering his mouth with Kokichi's slightly burnt scarf.

"What are you talking about?"

Kaede questions.
Shuichi snickers.

"Hehe...hahahah....hahahah...!"

Shuichi chuckles,his expression twisted with sadness and excitment at the same time.

"Shuichi...I think you lost your mind."

Kiibo comments,patting Shuichi's shoulder.

"Im proud of him.He started the killing game....this is great...!"

Shuichi's grin grows wider as he starts to sweat.

"This is a great way to start off the killing game.Such a b-brutal way to die....!Haha...Hahahaha....hahaha...!"

Shuichi laughs,he starts to shiver,practically drooling.

"S-Shuichi...youre scaring me..."

Kaede slightly shakes Shuichi.

"I cant wait till the investigation starts....Guuahahahaha....hahahaha!I already have a suspect in mind!Hahahahahaha...."

Shuichi laughs.
Kaede shivers.

"K-Kirumi...Shuichi lost his mind.Something's wrong..."

Kiibo calls for Kirumi who was sitting near to them on a blanket.
Kirumi becomes curious and walks over.
She kneels by Kaede's and Kiibo's blanket and looks to Shuichi.

"Shuichi.Do you want to talk?Are you alright?"

Kirumi questions,resting her hand on Shuichi's shivering,cold hand.

"No!Im fine.This is great!Im really happy!Hahaha..."

Shuichi smiles calmly,his body slightly trembling.

"But...Kokichi.He just...."

Kiibo mutters.
Shuichi shrugs.

"I dont mind!He did what he was born to do!Start the killing game!"

Shuichi laughs,a serious expression appears on Kirumi's face.

"This is what Shuichi must've been like before we were taken to this dome."
