A house stands alone, centered on a hill
No one would dare call a place such as this home
It's odd, call it haunted if you will
Only the insane would go in alone
It's halls hold horrors and secrets untold
It's floorboards creek, and the shudders whisper
People still live there, their souls growing old
I heard it's where a man killed his sister
He then killed his dog, and next was his wife
He strangled them both, the wife's skin turned blue
He hugged his son before taking his life
And fled his house in 1942
This is the story of Jonathan Black
He was never found, he never came back
