Rosie's Pov

I was reading peacefully when I saw Luke push a boy off the bridge, I couldn't help but start laughing and before I could say anything, Luke noticed me.

"Don't even ask" He said in an angry tone while he left.

I went to see who the boy was that made Luke that mad, I mean I've never seen him like that and I like bothering him a lot, so that's new.

Looking down to the bridge was this boy, he had brown hair and his eyes were a mix of brown and green, I couldn't help but admit that he was kinda cute.

"Are you just going to stand there laughing at me or are you going to help me get out?" The brown haired boy said while he stretched out his hand for me to help him.

"Oh I'm not falling for that one, i'm not that dumb to not know you're going to pull me in with you" I replied.

"Well... I had to try" He said while smirking at me and pulling himself out of the lake.

He was wet and I could see his abs through his shirt, damn he is fine!

I stopped checking him out before he noticed and spoke.
"You new here?"

"Is it that obvious?"

"Not really I just haven't seen you before and everyone knows everyone in this town, like literally"

"Well lucky me, this is just what I wanted a small town, gossipy people and no friends.... well not that I want friends anyway" He says in a sarcastic tone.

"Oh I know Is everyone's dream" I reply in a sarcastic tone too.

He keeps smiling at me and let outs a little laugh.

"By the way I'm Jess and you are...?" He says while stretching out his hand for me to shake it.

"Rosie" I say shaking his hand without breaking eye contact with him.

His hands were cold I suppose because of the water, he lets go of my hand.

"Rosie... beautiful name for a beautiful girl"

I can't stop smiling.

"As much as i'm enjoying this I have to go somewhere with my uncle and he's already mad with me and I don't think it's a good idea to make him more mad" He says.

"Don't worry It's fine actually I also have to go so... I guess i'll see you around Jess"

"See you around Rosie" He smirks and turns around to walk the other way.

"Hey get ready we have Luke and his nephew coming to dinner" Mom said hurriedly.

She was putting plates on the table and Sookie was in the kitchen cooking with Jackson.

I check my watch '6:53 pm'
Robbie is going to pick me up 7:25
There's no way this dinner lasts 25 minutes.
I guess i'll have to sneak out, it's not like they are going to miss me anyway.
