Chapter 15- Are you..?

I didn't realize how like fucked up this timeline is so-
Shiva&Amil adopted Peter a month after school started, he was supposed to stay home and get to know them before coming back to school, he got shot and the wound wasn't healing as fast as it normally would. So it is now currently the first week of winter break for them

Peter POV:

After Shiva left I called Ned and asked if he wanted to come over

°~°Totally Needed Time Skip°~°

"Hey dude! How have you been holding up?"
"Hey Ned, I have been good, what about you and MJ?"
"I have been fine, I don't know about MJ. School is really boring without you man!"
"..."

I drag Ned upstairs to my bedroom
"Woah! Dude chill what is happening!?"
"..."

"Ned, I think I made a mistake.."
"Dude what are you talking about?"
"I- okay let me explain-

So you know how I got adopted right...? Well I got adopted by a non-binary person, and their partner who uses all pronouns. Shiva, the non-binary one, knows I am Spider-Man and helps when ever I get injured. I- finally built up the courage to call them mom. But they got like kidnapped or whatever when I was going to. They returned perfectly fine that morning tho as if they weren't kidnap, and earlier they said they had to meet someone at 2..."

"Dude why are you telling me this?"

".... I'm scared that they are either cheating or-..."

"Peter, man I don't think they are doing either of those things"
"But how can I be so sure that they are not talking to someone about me being Spider-Man! What if they are, huh?!"
"Peter...we can't really do anything with this little information"
".... You're right, maybe I am just being paranoid"

"Hey how about this, we go do something to get your mind of this, and if you still believe that any of it is true then call me and we will talk about it, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah lets do that"

He gives me a smile, and I return it back.

"Hey you said that you called one of them mom, right?"
I look over at Ned confused, "Yeah, why?"
"How did it feel? Like when you said it, did you feel anything?"
"...It felt right, but so wrong... Like by mind said I shouldn't of, but my heart said that I needed to."

"Did you like it?"
"Yeah I liked the way it rolled of my tongue, even tho I hesitated."

"We just missed like half the movie btw"
"Bruuhhhhh!"

Amil POV:

"And that will be $2.90, sir!"

od it sure has been busy at the cafe. I check the time, 2:30. 'I am off in 10 minutes'
"Hello welcome to the (*) Cafe, my name is Amil, how may I help you?"
As I put in the person's order I glance over at a table.
'Is that Shiva? Why are they here?'
"That'll be $1.80"

I eye the table one more time before going into the back to clean.
'My shift is almost over, so I'll just ask them after'

After I finish cleaning and refilling, I glance over at the table Shiva was at, only to see they are not there.

'Huh, that's weird'

I walk out of the cafe and over to my car.
'I'll just ask Peter when I get home'

As I pull up to our house I see Shiva car is gone.
"Maybe their at the store?"
I put the car in park and go up to the door.
After unlocking it I walk in and see Peter and his friend laying down on the couch, sleeping.
'Awwwww!' I take a quick picture, before heading upstairs.

"Hey Peter, did Shiva tell you where they were going?"
"They told me that they had to go meet someone at 2, but other than that no, why?"
"Oh! It's just I saw them at the cafe I work at."

I see Peter turn and look at his friend. He whispers something to him.
"What are you two whispering about?"
"N-nothing, I was just asking Ned about the movie we watched earlier!"
"Y-yep!"
"Okay then-.."

Peter's POV:
'That was close'
"Hey, um me and Ned are going to be in my room for a bit, I need help with my websooters."

"Okay! Just make sure you clean up!"
"We will!"
I practically dragged Ned upstairs

"I think their cheating-"
"Peter!"
