You don't have to be short, hairy footed and live in a hole in a hill to have an adventure. Everyone has an adventurous side. Whether you feel it or not, it's there. Some people have a small amount of adventure, and some big. Some peoples adventure, are just out on an adventure of their own.
Adventures are tough. They are (if you use a lot of detail) brutally long, but they don't have to be. Take children's books for example. Many of them are about a little child going on an adventure. You don't have to make it super long for it to work.
