A Gift

--kakashi POV--

It's already morning. Yesterday was such a problematic day. Baka, Obito baka! We only made rin more worried. I am not in a mood to stay home today. maybe someone will ask me why I was crying yesterday and I am not in the mood to make up a lie. 

Maybe I can go to a park here in Konoha. It's a peaceful and nice place to read, the park is a little far from my house but it's fine if I get to read peacefully without interruptions. I could also set up a picnic there. the park is not just a great place to set up a picnic, the park also allows dogs and I want to take Pakun with me. He's still a puppy, and he talks. A talking dog, I was weird at first but I got used to it.

I still feel a little hurt from what Obito had told me, it was a bit shocking. yet another confirmation that we will never be together. 

it's 2:00 pm and I woke up at 11:00 am. I woke up late because I couldn't sleep from what Obito said to me yesterday. 

for the picnic. I am going to take a bowl of water for Pakun. I packed a little sandwich in case I got hungry and put it in a basket with some fruit and water, and of course my book is also inside.

I put pakun on a leash and headed towards the park.

gai: hello my rival!

I thought today would be a peaceful day, but having gai around, that thought would just be a dream.

kakashi:please leave me alone gai, I just want to be alone today.

gai: It isn't good to be alone, we are friends we should be there for eachother

kakashi: gai, I don't feel that well today, and I have am not alone

gai: how so? I don't see anyone around you.

I didn't say anything, I pointed my finger towards pakun.

gai:aha a puppy

pakun: hey

gai:........

kakashi:what is it

gai:ahhhhh

kakashi: don't yell gai!

gai: that dog speaks!

pakun: uh no, arf arf?

kakashi: I need to go bye

gai: but you are not feeling well

kakashi: forget it gai!

gai:no, let's go to the doctor, my rival can't be sick!

kakashi: I am not sick

gai: so what happened

kakashi: none of your concerns 

gai: we are friends, my rival. You can trust me

kakashi: gai I just need to some time alone. so I get better

gai:yoshi my rival. to keep you motivated, I am going to run 100 laps around konoha

kakashi: always so exaggerating. 

gai: byeeeeee-and so he started running

I gave a tired sigh

--rin POV--

Obito, minato sensei, kushina and I came to call kakashi for a walk with us. Also for obito to take the chance and apologize to kakashi. 

kushina knocked kakashi's door. we waited a few minute and knocked again.

Minato: I don't he is home.
