In Between (Megatron X OC X Optimus) (S1)

One Shall Rise Part 3 (1)

              We were waking through the tunnels quietly. I was walking in between Optimus and Megatron. I started slowing because of the dark energon presence. It wasn't that much but.... wow.... I could not think or see straight to save my life. Optimus wrapped his arm around me and helped me keep up.

              Megatron stopped, and grabbed his head in pain. I ran up to him "my liege, are you okay?" He opened his purple optics and answered "Unicron grows ever stronger." "And what about you?" I ask again. He looks to me and nods "I'll manage." He stands once more and begins walking. I keep up with him.

           I heard Arcee behind me "How do we know Unicron isn't using Megatron to lead us all into a trap?" Optimus answers "We do not." Arcee ejected her blasters and we continued walking. I turn around, beginning to walk beackwards "you do know that you could easily shoot me from where you're standing and avoid Megatron completely, thus probably triggering him to attack you?" She stutters "F-fair point." And retracts her blasters. I turn back around and continue following Megatron.

             We then got to the end of the hallway that looked out to the center of the earth. "Unicron's spark is near." My liege comments. Arcee looked out to it and then said "after you." In a once again intimidating tone. Megatron sighs and begins walking once again. 

          Bulkhead groaned as we walked. BumbleBee beeped frantically "=<Bulkhead!! A-are you alright!?>=" the wrecker answers "Fine, Bee. Just.... woozy." Arcee worries "The dark energon, it's starting to affect him. Steady as you go, Bulk. The 2 helped Bulkhead walk. I then began to feel the effects. I tripped over my own feet and Megatron turns and catch's me. "We need to send him back." He says to Optimus. Optimus gets ready to com but I stop him "Prime no.... I'm staying to help. If you and Megatron are staying, I am too." "ShiverTooth, You are too sensitive for this mission." Optimus argues.  I growl back, my optics turning blood red "I will not sit at base and watch you and Megatron risk your lives for this planet!! You are the closest 2 people that I have. No one else can match you. If you are going to risk it, I will too..." Optimus tried to come up with a reason but he couldn't. He wanted to order me back and Megatron did too but they couldn't bring themselves to do it.

             It went silent before Megatron's symbol sparked. "Unicron is preparing to expel us." We heard many screeches and looked up to see flying black and purple creatures coming at us. "I probably should have went back." I say. "You think!?" Megatron says loudly. The other 3 eject their blasters and Bulkhead asks "What are those things?"  Optimus responds "As we are within Unicron's body, it stands to reason they are some sort of antibody. My optics turned bright blue and I ejected my blasters with Optimus and began shooting. I thanked Alpha for helping me increase my aim. The air filled with the sound of blaster shots.

             The creatures then started getting too close and the bots with close combat weapons ejected one of them and began attacking them. I couldn't touch them which sucked. If one got too close, I used my boosters to stay away until someone killed it.

       I heard Bumblebee yell "=<Bulkhead!!>=" I turned and saw Bulkhead dangling off the ledge, Bee holding onto him. I ran over and Bulkhead counters "Let me go. I'll only take you down with me!!" The shots started getting closer to us and I lost grip to shoot at a few of them coming at us. "Just let go, kid!!" Bulkhead yells to his friend. They break from each other's grasp and Optimus grabs onto his arm before he falls. He brings him back up to the platform, saying "I got ya."

              We begin running to the center and Optimus calls to Arcee. She rides one of the creatures up and lands in front of us on the platform.  I nearly got knocked off but I grabbed onto the ledge. "Megatron!!!" I called out. I began slipping and got tired for
The dark energon. One flew above me and I ejected my blade out of instinct and thrusted it into the beast. Bad idea.... the dark energon squirted into my optics and on my face. I wiped it off after throwing the beast down. I then lost grip and closed my optics but 2 servos grabbed onto me. "=<We got you, ShiverTooth.>=" my scout friend said to me. I get back on the platform and I could still see a bit. Optimus helps me over to the others.
