N.B.: I head-canon that Mondo had black hair back then (So Ishimaru will be the 'raven-haired' and Mondo will be the 'black-haired')

3rd person pov

It was 8:30 a.m. when Kiyotaka Ishimaru joined his 7th-grade class. They were going to a small village in Japan. All the other kids were chattering together, leaving the raven alone. He didn't mind, though: he was used to be left apart by his classmates. He was too stuck up to the rules to make friends.

"Alright, kiddos!" Enthusiastically announced the teacher. "We'll be leaving in a few!"

"Miss!" Called a kid. "Mondo is missing!"

The lady rubbed her temples. "Good grief..." (A/N: I've been watching Jojo's bizarre adventures lately)"I hope he won't be too late or one of you will be alone."

Yes, because the class was separated into different groups of two. Everyone paired themselves with their friends or whatever. As Mondo and Kiyotaka were the two children left, they got paired together. Ishimaru was kinda disappointed: Mondo hates his guts and the raven found Mondo disloyal, violent, vulgar as an individual. Taka really wouldn't like to be paired with THAT classmate in particular.

"Morning, miss." Harshly saluted a voice, Mondo's to be exact.

"Ah! Mondo!" Angrily beamed (yes) the teacher, "You're late: it's 8:35!"

"Yeah yeah!..." Responded the lavender-eyed, without any true interest.

"I don't have time for this." Just said the professor. "Just, go join your partner already!"

Mondo mumbled something before joining Ishimaru. The raven sighed but tried to still discrete, he knows for a fact that it's gonna be some bad day.

It has been one-half-hour since the bus left the school. Again, all the kids were having fun together. But for Taka and Mondo... Well- The two didn't talk, the only thing said was that Mondo wanted to be next to the window.

The black-haired child (here, Mondo)was staring at the road and tried to follow the cars with his eyes.

Taka, him, stood straight as always. He wasn't saying a word. This lack of interaction started to tire him so the raven shut his eyes and fell asleep.

After a couple of minutes, Mondo finally realized that his partner was asleep. The boy's lavender eyes decided to stare at their partner, he was way more interesting to watch than the road.

Taka looked peaceful while sleeping. And his appearance was so more perfect than his: his hair was short and ordered, he was wearing a shirt with a tie... Why tho? He does look kinda good, not gonna lie.

"Is everything alright?" Suddenly asked the teacher to the black-haired guy who came from legit nowhere.

"Yeah. Kiyotaka is sleeping."

"You should sleep too." Stated the young lady. "I'm seeing that you're tired."

Mondo nodded before relaxing and, eventually, closing his eyes.

"Mondo... Psst... Mondo!"

The black-haired guy rubbed his eyes as Taka was waking him up.

"Glad you're awake!" Beamed the ruby-eyed child. "We're at our destination!"

"Already?"

"It has been three hours, Mondo."
