Chapter 24

"Becky!" Mickey yelled

I could hear the hurt in her voice

I hugged mt knees together and hid my head

Letting the tears flow down my fac4e

The bed sinked next to me

"Becky, What happen?!" Alex asked so worried

I ignored them and felt someone pull me up

"We're going to talk about this Becky. And yo have some explaining to do." Sarah told pulling me away from everyone

I could hear Ari talking but I couldnt figure out what shes saying from all of my sobs

Sarah took me to the guest room

Or you can say Austin's room. Before he..started going out with Taylor,we use to always hang out and sleep in eachothers houses.

Thats how close we were

But then everything changed.

All the memories started coming back

I miss you Austin.

"Explain now. And we know what you're doing." She said so serious

I wiped away the tears and calmed down a little.

Taking a deep breath, i said

"W-what are you talking about?"

She rolled her eyes

"Cut the acting Becky. We know what you're trying to do. You pretended to forget about all of us and Austin. But we understand why you did it."

I sighed

Theres no use trying to hide it now

"How did you figure it out?" I asked looking away

"Alex. You two have been best friends since first grade. He would know if you're lying or not." She told

They know me so well.

There was a pause and silence filled the room until the door opened

It was the crew.

"Oh Becky. Im so sorry" Mickey said in sorrow

She came to me and gave me a hug

"I kind of explained everything to them. Even you're plan to Austin but they already figured that out." Ari told

I was hugging Mickey trying to calm down while they were explaining everything to Sarah

After a few minutes, we all came together.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Mickey asked hurt

"Look, Im sorry for not telling you guys and pretending to forget you. I just couldnt take the pain. I wanted to forget the memory of that night but, i failed. I was suppose to tell all of you later but I guess you already figured it out.: I apologized

"Becky,We understand. We would've dont the same thing but you've gotten us hurt and worried. Next time, please tell us and we'll help you through all of it"

I nodded

"Again, Im really sorry guys."

I looked away in shame.

I felt someone hug me

Turning around, i saw that it was Alex

"He must've hurt you really badly for you to do this." He whispered to me

"Yes he did..."

His hugs always seemed to make me feel better

"Im kind of alright now. Thank you for being here for me guys.

They all nodded

"We're you best friends Becky" Ari said "We're here for you no matter what"

I smiled at that statement

""But what I dont understand is,why did you run away from Austin? You knew that he was going to apologize" Robert said

I frowned

Mickey slapped him in the back of the head

"Ouch!"

"Thank you Mickey." I smiled at her and continued

"But all of you deserves a proper explanation. To be honest, i wasnt ready to face Austin. He really hurt me. And I knew that I would forgive him right away. He doesnt deserve to be forgiven yet. He has no idea how much it hurts."

A tear slipped out

Sarah rubbed my back 

I took in a deep breath and continued

"And who knows if he would do this again. Taylor really changed him. I dont think I remember how Austin was like before all this happen. And the worst part is...."

I got up and looked at all of them

My back facing the door

"I dont think he's the Austin I fell in love with all these years...."

I heard a gasped behind me.

Everyone's eyes widen

I turned around and gasped

Austin was right outside the door.

"Y-you're in love with me?" He stuttered

My jaw dropped

How long has he been standing there?

I closed my eyes and turned away from him

"Go away Austin." I said in a low cracking voice 

I was holding back the tears

I felt arms around my waist

"I SAID GO AWAY AUSTIN!" I yelled and got out of his arms

Running downstairs, I got my jacket and headed somewhere

I knew exactly where

The tree house.
