Ch. 7 "Dream"

                                                         Autumn POV 

                                           Dream

I was giggling and running through the tall grass, jumping occasionally, butterflies were everywhere, 

"Autumn..." I hear a voice 

I look up and at the top of the hill in the meadow was mommy, she was standing proud and tall, 

"Mommy..." I said 

I smiled 

"Mommy!" I said running to her, 

I nuzzled my faced into her chest of her fur, as my little fingers ran through her fur, 

"I miss you so much," I said with my eyes closed as I continued to nuzzle into her chest, 

She purred as she nuzzled against my cheek, 

"Shh, there now, it's going to alright, you'll see," Mommy said nuzzling agains my cheek, 

"Why'd you have to go?" I said nuzzling against her, 

Mommy slowly rises her head, 

"Everything in the forest has its season. Where one thing falls, another grows. Maybe not what was there before, but something new and wonderful all the same." Mommy said 

"But I feel so alone," I said nuzzling against her, 

"I'm always with you, even when you can't see me, I'm here, I'm here," Mommy said 

                                               End Dream

My eyelids slowly fluttered open I was nuzzling agains the pillow, 

I slowly sat up looking around realizing it was just a dream, I thought 

I got out of bed and wandered out of the room, 

I sniffed the air trying to pick up on T'Challa's scent and finally I got it and followed it, 

To the giant box that moves, 

I used my glowing eyes and heat signatures to determine what number to hit, 

I hit the button and wait for the box to move, 

"I'm telling you brother she's not a normal child," I hear Shuri as I was still a few floors above them, 

"Don't you think I know that," T'Challa said 

"So what course are you going to take my son?" I heard his mother say

"She needs me that is all that matters as far as I'm concerned," I hear T'Challa say 

The doors finally open, and I follow the smell and I see them in the lab we came to the first day I was here, 

They all turn around hearing the elevator open and see me, 

"Autumn how did you get down here?" He said walking up to me picking me up 

I tapped my pointer finger on his nose, 

"I smelled," I said 

They all looked at each other, 

"I followed your smell," I said quietly
