Chapter 24: Hostage

Singing his rap from Bring It, Soonyoung kept imagining how cool their performance was going to be. Being called by Woozi hyung was normal for him. That's why he didn't give anything a second thought and walked in the green room.
To his surprise it was dark and empty. Looks like I'm here first, he thought to himself as he walked towards the other end of the room to switch on the lights. But the moment he was within the switches reach the door behind him closed. Normally someone would freak out but Hoshi didn't pay it a lot of attention and quickly turned on the lights as he turned around to face Woozi.
But there was no Woozi. And there stood the only person he didn't want to be alone in a room with, Wonwoo.
Hoshi felt his anger surge at what had happened but being unaware of the fact that Woozi was not going to come he walked towards the door. But before he could reach it Wonwoo blocked his way.

H: I'm not in a mood to fight with you nor do I have anything to say to you. So move out of my way I need to go see Woozi hyung.
He tried moving forward but Wonwoo won't budge.

W: Actually he's not coming. I called you here because you wouldn't listen to me no matter how much I tried to talk to you.

H: Are you telling me you tricked me into coming here and then locked me inside?

W: Well yes, but only because you wouldn't listen to me.

Hoshi's blood was boiling. He hated the fact that Wonwoo had used Woozi to get to him and wasn't leaving him alone. He didn't reply but tried to push Wonwoo out of the way which surprised wonwoo who stumbled two steps but quickly came back to hold Soonyoungs bag. Soonyoung angrily removed his bag.

H: What makes you think I'm going to listen to you like this? If you like that bag so much you can take it, idc. Stop bothering me.
He opened the latch on the door but before he could open the door Wonwoo grabbed him my his waist with one hand and latched the door with the other. He was back hugging soonyoung who was terrified by the unwanted touch. In his feeble attempts to get out of Wonwoo's grip, the stronger dragged him away from the door and pinned him against the wall.
Once he secured Soonyoung against the wall away from the door he turned Soonyoung to face him and removed his hand covering Soonyoungs mouth.
Soonyoung was teary eyed but wasn't really crying. His eyes were red boiling with anger and resentment towards his once best friend. He stood there silently without a word glaring at Wonwoo, who was facing down with both his hands on the wall trapping him in between.

W: I just wanted to talk to you Soonyoung. Why won't you let me explain?
When he looked up his eyes were red and he was sobbing quietly. His expression was heart broken and hurt. Looking at him in that state Soonyoung's heart almost stopped. He felt like he was the one who had hurt Wonwoo. He opened his mouth to say something but stopped himself. He thought for a second then spoke softly.

H: If I listen to you will you let me go?
