Part-11

"Sanskar" Swara called his name , trying to find him in this dark night

She move to find him and spot a figure leaning against a tree near the bank of the lake... She moves in that direction , she call him again when she got near

There he was, sitting with head on his knees near the chest, staring the sky without a blink , tears flowing from his eyes, rain was pouring down ,sky was also crying seeing his condition...

"Sanskar" Swara called him again placing hand on his shoulder
He shuddered at sudden touch and turn to see her
It hurts her to see his red puffy eyes and his vulnerable state
"Sanskar are you okay?" She asked concerned

He didn't replied , but this time he looked up in her eyes
The look in his eyes was that of a child his mother to embrace him, to hide him in her lap from all the negativity of this world, the child who was fear stricken from something and just want his mother's soothing hug and peaceful sleep in her lap

She couldn't control seeing him and immediatly she sat down took him in a bone crushing hug and cried out loud
He didn't hugged her back but for he broke the hug
Slowly she stopped crying and started rubbing his back with one hand and was caressing and patting his head with other while trying to soothe his pain.
With each passing minute he was loosing his energy and slowly his eyes closed being exhausted with his head resting on her shoulder and sleep took over him.
She broke the hug feeling his weight on her and see him fast asleep
She didn't woke him up and just lay him in her lap  & give peck on his forehead and sit leaning against the tree caressing his hairs and staring at the sky , slowly she closed her tears filled eyes trying not to cry and lean her head back against the tree trunk n reminisce their friend ship, pranks, marriage...

ho.. pal pal ka marna
pal pal ka jeena
jeena hai kam kam

dying every moment,
living moment by moment,
is living less..

She reminiscences their fake marriage from where there life took an unexpected turn

ghuT-ta hai dum dum.... ghuT-ta hai
dukhta hai dil dukhta hai
ghuT-ta hai dum dum.... ghuT-ta hai
Dar hai andar chhupta hai
ghuT-ta hai dum dum.... ghuT-ta hai

it chokes, chokes,
the heart aches..
I choke,
and the heart tries to hid within..

Tears begins to flow uncontrollably from her eyes as the memories begin to play in her mind...her heart aches remembering his proposal just before their engagement, their wedding!

pal pal ka jeena
jeena hai kam kam
ghuT-ta hai dum dum..

dying of every moment,
living just in moments,
it’s living very less..
it’s choking…

She pressed his palm tightly which she was holding thinking of time when they almost got separated due to Rajat, her memory loss and his efforts to woo her back

mere ujDe ujDe se hoThon mein
baDi sehmi sehmi rehti hai zabaan
mere haathon pairon mein khoon nahi
mere tan badan mein behta hai dhuaan

behind my desolate lips,
the tongue remains scared..
there is no blood in my arms and legs,
and smoke flows in my body..

"From now on I don't have any relation with you" his words played in her mind

seene ke andar, aansu jamaa hain
palkein hain nam nam..

in my chest there are tears deposited,
the eyes are wet..

There finally came the moment when they got separated due to their own mistakes. Her accusations, his warning, the day when they lost each other emotionally.

kyun baar baar lagta hai mujhe
koi door chupke takta hai mujhe
koi aas paas aaya to nahi…
mere saath mera saaya to nahi

why do I feel again and again,
someone far away, in hiding, looks at me..
but no one has come near me,
is it my shadow with me then?

She remembered reading his alleged suicide letter, it sent a chill down her spine

aa.. chalti hai lekin
nabz bhi thoDi, saans bhi kam kam
ghuTata hai dum dum..

even the pulse goes on, little by little,
and the breathing slow,
it’s choking…

"I don't wanna fight anymore,I want a peaceful life without any drama" his teary pleading face came in front of her eyes.. she opened her eyes with a jerk and saw him sleeping or say laying unconscious in her lap, this was enough for breaking her  seeing her love her strength

saans bhi kuch kuch rukta hai,
pal pal kyun dum ghuTta hai..

the breath stops a little too,
it’s choking..

She finally let out a cry remembering everything..her eyes are getting heavy due to tiredness....
