I arrived at the airport and I was so worried about all this happening. I don't know if dad will listen or not and I can't do this to Sanket nor to myself. I won't ever get married to anyone else other than Sanket. Now it's time to board the flight. I arrived at the Delhi Airport and the driver had come to pick me. I reached home and I saw people decorating our hall for god knows what. I directly went upstairs to my parent's room where my mom and dad were eagerly waiting for me. I hugged them
A.D: Aashna, before you say anything, lemme tell you I can't change my decision as you saw the hall is getting decorated for your engagement tonight. You already know I had a heart attack recently and I know I won't live for long now so pls get married I want you settled before I leave. And Nikhil is a very good guy he'll keep you happy.
I couldn't tell anything because Dad was so emotional and had so many hopes from me. They've allowed me for literally everything I've asked for. Suddenly a message popped on my screen and it was Sanket and the message said"did you talk?🥺" i can't do this to him.but neither can I hurt my parents.
Just then my mom entered
Pakkhi.M: Aashna stop crying! Wear this dress and come downstairs in the next 1 hour. It's your engagement and the guests have already started coming.
Aashna:yes mom!
Mom left the room and I got dressed and went downstairs
