This story does not revolve around the Netflix adaptation of the Bridgerton series, and mostly follows the course of Julia Quinn's Bridgerton Novels. (It follows the 7th novel It's In His Kiss).
Although, if you haven't read the series, and what I wrote is not enough to add background information on the premise, you can ask me and I'd love to answer your questions about the story if you do not care for spoilers all that much.
For those who have read the entire series: As much as I love Lucinda Abernathy, I obviously have a favorite trope and thought the premise between Felicity Featherington and Gregory Bridgerton was more my cup of tea.
