Kaheim's POV
Finally able to relax after that flight.
"Hey Issac, I'm here," I said through the mind link."Ok Alpha."
I have my apartment in each city and this city is no different. I looked around, the front door open up to the kitchen on my right with a wrap-around counter and stools. On my left was a television room with a black leather couch shaped like an "L" and a love seat. A big television was on the wall. There was a large window that overlooked the city. It was very beautiful at night.
Further down the hall were the master bedroom and bathroom. It was all black, the bed was huge with black silk sheets, and windows lined the entire wall behind the bed. There was also a door that led out to the balcony. Two other doors were visible- one that led to the bathroom and the other led to the walk-in closet.
I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I was tired but wanted to visit a few places before calling it a night. I needed to have an idea of how big this rouge thing was. So a few people to see and talk to under the radar of course.
I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. I booted up my laptop cause there was something I needed to check before heading out. I headed towards the closet. I had someone do a bit of shopping for me so I wouldn't have to travel with much luggage, something I hate doing.
I grab black ripped jeans and a v-neck shirt also in black and got dressed.
I check my email and respond to one in particular, close the laptop, and put on my shoes. I grab my phone and keys and head out. It was about midnight at this point.
I decided to walk since I'm in the heart of the city.
; I was so deep in thought I wasn't paying attention to where I was going until my wolf started behaving weirdly.
; I look up and realize I was at a high-end club in the area. Why I was there I don't know but seems my wandering feet took me there.
I tried to leave but my wolf was acting weird again as if he need me to go inside.
My wolf is normally very calm and collected, never one to cause a scene always content to let me make the decisions unless the situation calls for him to be more dominant.
So due to this I was curious to know why he was so interested in going inside.
I enter the club, there weren't many people there at this time so I made my way over to the bar. The place was great, people were dancing on the floor to the song "Cardi B and Bruno Mars-Please Me".
I notice a few things by this time, the club had a mix of werewolves, vampires, and witches. There isn't any bad blood between any of the species. We live our lives how we see fit not overstepping on the territory of the others. We all have only one enemy and that is rouges.
I notice the bartender who was a werewolf making his way over to me. I order a scotch on the rock, he felt a little of my power to know that I'm higher than him but not enough to know exactly how high.
I had forgotten why I came inside until I felt my wolf on high alert and that's when I smelled the most wonderful scent- the scent of vanilla and roses.
I froze for a minute wondering if I was in a dream, but my wolf was so restless I realize I wasn't. I turn around trying to locate the person with that scent and that's when I saw her.
Waist length hair as black as midnight with hints of gold, about 5"5 in height minus the black heels she wore. Her body was drop-dead perfect. Slim waist, full breasts just enough to fill my hands, thick thighs that may very much be the death of me, and a long neck. She has curves in all the right places.
But it was her eyes that caught me most. They were windows to her soul, beautiful and filled with so many emotions - sadness at the foremost of them all, this she tried to hide behind her laugh. They were the most beautiful shade of brown I have ever seen.
MATE!! My wolf growled, freezing me in place.
