Sarah's POV

The wolf was big, his eyes were red and looking directly at me. Him teeth were exposed and drool was running from the sides of his mouth. It looked scary and it was going to kill me.

Omg!

Not today!

Not on my birthday!

I knew I would die eventually but never by a wolf!

Who knew wolves lived in these areas?

Shit! What am I going to do?

I started to slowly back up, my mind telling me not to make any sudden moves or try to run.

Slowly backing up to the dumpster that was to the right of me and the wolf followed, slowly stalking me like I was his next dinner.

I imagined I was I laughed to myself.

I saw a board on the dumpster and slowly eased it into my hands placing it in front of my body preparing to swing at the wolf if he decided to jump at me.

The wolf kept coming growling low. Sweating profusely, my heart was beating a mile a minute but I stood there ready, watching, waiting.

Then I heard it another growl coming from the front of the club. I felt some connection to this growl wondering if that even makes sense. I laughed to myself thinking that I've lost my mind.

I was facing a wolf which was about to kill me and feeling hot and heavy for a simple growl that I heard behind me.

Wanting to look but didn't look I couldn't I was too afraid that if I looked away from the wolf in front of me it would attack.

The growl came again from behind me but closer and I felt some invincible energy. It felt strong pushing against my skin. My belly tightened and I felt instant arousal.

I trembled but not from fear!

The wolf looked at the mystery person and snapped at him but didn't make any more to move.

Starting to feel dizzy but I didn't want to pass out, not while a wolf was just a couple feet away from me.

I heard a voice behind me say "You dare to attack my mate, rouge?"

I didn't understand this but the wolf looked at me one last time and disappeared into the woods.

I stood there shocked, looking at the spot where the wolf once stood.

I felt the stranger approached and I slowly looked up.

He was thick, build like a truck with muscles in all the right places an image of "The Rock" came to mind. His too long black curls framed the most beautiful face I've ever seen. His striking green eyes seemed to stare into my soul. His lips were red and made for kissing.

And then he spoke voice as soft as silk, sending shivers of delight all over my body.

"Are you ok?"

He was a stranger but I felt safe within his presence.

And with that in mind I felt the darkness welcome me.

I fainted!
