I’m awaken to someone shaking me, I slowly open my eyes
“Hey O” I smile
She smiles back, as I sit up,
I notice Jasper and Monty are gone, Octavia offers me a bottle which I gratefully accept
While I sip the water she looks at me and explains
“You’ve been asleep for an hour, Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dee told me you healed Jasper and I know its draining, exscially after today so I brought you some water” she says with a smile
“Thanks babe” I say giving her a peck on the cheek as I stand
We link arms and head out the dropship towards the camp fire, but before we get there I notice something moving in the sky
All the other teens start to notice as well
“Check it out!”
“Bellamy! Get out here!” I yell towards his tent
“They’re coming to help us”
Bellamy comes out of his tent shirtless with a girl wrapped up in a blanket
“Look up” Octavia says to her brother and he does but then his expression changes to one of panic
“Now we can kick some grounder ass”
“Yeah”
“Please tell me they brought down some shampoo" The girl next to Bellamy says
I have to bite my tongue to stop myself from replying to that stupid comment
Bellamy soon goes back into, what’s now known as the ‘Meeting’ tent with a bunch of boys following behind him
"If it cleared the ridge than it's probably near the lake."
"We should get moving." Octavia butts into their planning “Everyone's ready?" she asks
But Bellamy immediately shakes his head “No one's going anywhere. Not while it's dark it isn't safe”
I open my mouth to speak but he’s quicker “We'll head out at first light; pass the word” he announces to the boys
They nod leaving the tent
Bellamy goes to leave but me and Octavia stands in front of him, blocking the exit
"Everyone for a hundred miles saw this thing come down. What if the grounders get to it first? Bell, we should go now” Octavia says
Once again Bellamy shakes his head “I say we wait till sunrise, with that he leaves
Octavia goes to follow him but grab her hand, she looks at me with a smirk and brows raised
“He’s going after the pod, you coming?” she asks
“Always up for an adventure with you O” I say with a smile as we link arms exiting the tent
Once we’re outside, I don’t see Bellamy anywhere so I’m assuming he already left, me and Octavia wait till no one is looking too sneak through the gap in the wall and we follow my nose towards the older boy
About half an hour later, we finally catch up to him
"Bellamy!” I yell running up to him, Octavia on my heels
“What are you doing?" O asks
Bellamy shakes his head "Go back to camp. It isn't safe."
“She’s safe with me” I reassure
