Karl loved you, past tense loved but you knew he just didn't want to hurt you so when you saw him laughing and having fun with Allison you knew you had to let go

It was 5:00 pm and you just left Allison house with Karl and you couldn't help but feel left out like they didn't want you to be there so I was determined to talk to Karl

Y/n: Hey Karl can we talk
I say as I sit down in the couch
Karl: sure are you okay?
Y/n: well not really I just really need to talk to you about us
Ka: oh uhm sure what about us
Y/n: You love Allison, and she loves you too
Karl: I-
Y/n: let me finish okay?
Y/n: whenever you look at her you just look so happy, whenever you talk to her you look so happy, she makes you happy, while I don't I know you want to be with her and Im not stopping you because I just want you to be happy, even if that happiness doesn't include me.

Y/n: but you also love Sabrina you can't love us both Karl
I say while tears are running down my face
Y/n: Karl I love you so much people die to meet their soulmate don't let her go because I can tell you guys are meant to be

He says while sobbing

I say while getting up and grabbing my bag

He says while standing up and hugging me
And we just stood there and hugged
Y/n: Bye Karl
I say in the doorway
Karl: Bye
I left and never looked back and I knew that he was happy to be with Allison, and I didn't want to get in the way of him finding his soulmate.
