Rendez-vous with the Oracle

When the sky turns to a darker shade of blue

And the artificial golden light shines on my face

When the voices surrounding me withdrew

Giving me everything I need: time and space

I take out my red silk scarf that I thrifted

Neatly folded in my special drawer

So soft to the touch, the atmosphere shifted

Perfect to open my mind and explore

All the questions I don't dare to say out loud

So, I'd rather ask my cards, which I trust

Gaze at the smiley faces and fine lines

The numbers and meanings, the disgust and lust

Listen to the Universe when it's sending signs

It's time to breathe, shuffle, and clear the clouds.
