Maxon's P.O.V.

I stood taller, looking at our guests. In the first row were the selection girls. Then Kriss's family. And other countless people.

"Lady Kriss Ambers!" Someone announced

The music rose and there at the end of the isle, was Kriss. Elegant as ever she glided across the aisle towards me.

She reached it and we stepped closer together.

"Hello, my dear." I whispered

"Hello, my prince." She whispered back, smiles written on her face

"Maxon and Kriss, I now invite you to join hands and make your vows, in the presence of God and his people."The bishop said

I smiled.

"Kriss, how lucky am I to call you mine? Your love and trust makes me a better person, each and every day. For all those times that we've been together, there's always been a mutual understanding that's only shared when two people love each other truly. You were there for my greatest challenges. You encouraged me to grow. You helped believe in myself and become the person that I am today. In your arms and by your side, I know I can do anything. I'm proud to call you my wife." I said

Kriss looked close to tears.

"Maxon, the sun smiles on us today, our wedding day, and how can it not. With our hearts beating together as one, our love warms the world. I love you with all my heart. You're my love, light and soulmate. You're the person that keeps me singing, smiling, and laughing. I give you this ring as a sign of my love that's forever, eternal and never ending, like the circle in this ring." Though I'd heard this many times when we practiced, I still wanted to cry

"Heavenly Father, by your blessing let these rings be to Maxon and Kriss, a symbol of unending love and faithfulness, to remind them of the vow and covenant which they have made this day, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." The bishop recited

The bishop handed me the ring.

I slid it on Kriss's finger.

"Kriss, I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage. With my body I honour you, all that I am I give to you, and all that I have I share with you, within the love of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit." I smiled dumbly

The bishop handed her my ring.

She slid it onto my finger

"Maxon, I give you this ring as a sign of our marriage. With my body I honour you, all that I am I give to you, and all that I have I share with you, within the love of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit." She smiled, her cheeks pink

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, princess and prince. You may now kiss the bride." The bishop said

The room erupted in cheers as I lifted Kriss's veil and kissed her.

"Ready for stage 2?" I whispered

"As much as I'll ever be." She smiled weakly

Together, we stepped into the limo.

45 minute later we were at the church, standing in front of everyone.

"We are gathered here today to witness the crowning of Prince Maxon Calix Schreave and Princess Kriss Schreave." The archbishop announced

"Sir, is Your Highness willing to take the oath?" The archbishop asked

"I am." I answered, kneeling

"Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of Illea?" The archbishop questioned

"I solemnly promise so to do."

"Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?"

"I will."

"Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the Illean kingdom established by law? Will you maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the Church of Illea, and the doctrine, worship, discipline, and government thereof, as by law established in Illea? And will you preserve unto the Bishops and Clergy of Illea, and to the Churches there committed to their charge, all such rights and privileges, as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them?"

"I will."

"Madame, is Your Highness willing to take the oath?" He asked Kriss

"I am." She breathed

"I will."

"I now pronounce you King and Queen!" The archbishop declared

He handed both of us scepters and orbs.

The crowd cheered

I looked at Kriss, her face shining with delight. Everything was perfect. Everything.
