Y/N's POV
Every day had been uniquely different since our introductions to my friends. We had often been hanging out together during our summer holiday, and now that I was back at school and we were busy, we had not been able to meet that often.
"Are you ready for Sunday?" The girls asked me in our break. We were currently sitting on the plane in front of our campus while enjoying our self-bought lunch boxes.
"Yeah?" I answered more like a question as I wondered what they were discussing. But then, I remembered I had something important that I needed to do on the weekend, but the actual event – damn, I forgot it completely.
"What is happening Sunday?" I asked them once again as I saw them mentally slap themselves at my stupid question.
"Are you playing dumb, or are you actually dumb?" They insultingly asked me, as I looked blankly at them before they answered me and said, "It's your engagement party, dummy!"
OMG!!! How could I forget?!
"It's already the engagement party!?" I yelled a tad too loud. My eyes were bulging, and I had an open mouth that Lingling had to close for me before Nana continued.
"You are trying the dresses with us tomorrow. Remember?"
OMG! My stupid brain had been failing me these days. I completely forgot everything about the ceremonies and my marriage! I cannot believe it was going to be soon, as in just around the corner.
"Knock knock," my cousin came and knocked on my head as the boys sat down around us and joined us at our place.
"What are you thinking about?" He asked me after he sat down beside me. I was too busy rubbing my head with a death glare that I did not realize Junkai joined our group.
"Nothing, dummy, and thanks," I sarcastically replied him with hatred in my eyes. It was not fun at all, and it hurt a lot. His knock was not a gentle one but a harsh one that blew me off the grid.
"Are you ok?" Junkai came to my side and gently examined my head. Unfortunately, I did not realize it, so I fell backward and landed flat on my back. He almost fell too as I grabbed his shirt, but luckily, he supported himself with his arm, and nothing happened; otherwise, he could have mashed me.
"No, it's fine." I blushed at him. He offered me a hand that I took with a tomato-red face. I felt so embarrassed for fooling myself in front of him. He was, after all, still my crush.
The rest of the day went by with a blink of an eye. It was so fast and blurry that I did not realize time had passed before I slowed down and took a look at my calendar. The big red mark on my calendar indicated it was soon. The marriage was just around the corner, and I did not realize it, which shows my passion for this marriage – just kidding.
I was currently lying on my bed with nothing on my mind. It was not until Lingling and Nana began complaining about my stupidness for not remembering my engagement party and everything – that seemed essential for them, that I remembered the event.
"Hurry! We have to choose a color for your nails." Lingling bought me to choose between two different colors – blue and yellow. I chose blue because it fit my dress better, but the yellow color was so irresistible too.
It was a long night with gossip and sweet talk between the three of us. I got a lot of tea on the recent events in their lives, such as their partners and crushes, how far they have come in their relationship, etc. It was an unforgettable night with my girls, and I could not be more thankful for their present beside me.
---------
The next day came faster than hoped. I was standing in front of everyone in my blue dress. It was a thousand layered dress with floral patterns and glitter around the chest area. It was surprisingly lighter than it looked like, but it was not an easy case with high heels. I was struggling to keep my balance, that it looked like I kept on bouncing.
"Stop it," my friends told me, as they held me and brought me to greet my parents.
"Y/n, stop it, sweetie." My mother told me with a playful tone, "your husband will come and save you soon."
By the mention of a husband, Junkai came to my side and held me close to him. He supported me by my waist, which made it more steady for me, as I leaned into his arms.
"Let's greet everyone with an announcement," Junkai whispered into my ear.
I nodded a greet to my parents before we left and stood in the middle of the room. I gave Junkai a wineglass and a spoon before he announced to everyone in the room.
"Attention, please," He started, "I would like to start with a greeting of thank you to Y/n's parents for giving birth to this gorgeous woman standing in front of me today."
He smiled as he continued, "I don't know what I would have done if our parents didn't set us together for this marriage. I don't think I would have gotten the courage to confess to you yet, but here we are." Junkai smiled at me and kneeled, "Marry me, please."
I got so touched at the moment that I did not know what to say; I was utterly speechless.
"Yes," I muttered out with a broken voice. Junkai slid the ring he proposed to me on my hand, as we then shared a hug in the middle of the applause. I was so happy, yet I had a feeling that something terrible was going to happen.
"Congrats!" A familiar voice yelled, "you are finally marrying her."
Everyone made their way for her as she entered the scene with her strapless and tight cocktail dress. It was a cream-colored body-length dress that suited her and gave her a strong aura that I could not disagree with but to say that it made her look imperia and more elegant.
When she stood face to face in front of me, she held my hand and patted it with a slight feeling of humiliation. I got you, it said.
A/N: This is how I imagined Y/n's dress looks like, but ofc it's up to your imagination <3
