A/N This is going to be based after Simon loses his memory, but then gains a bit of it back and is at the Shadowhunter Accademy. I know that the Accademy doesn't have any signal but we'll pretend. Seeing it from Simon's phone.

Isabelle: Hey

SL: Izzy?

Isabelle: That's the one

SL: Is everything okay? Is Clary okay?

Isabelle: Wow. Thanks.

SL: What?

SL: Oh no, I didn't mean it like that, Izzy. 

Isabelle: Yeah sure

SL: I really didn't. I was just worried because you don't usually message me

Isabelle: I apologise for not staying in touch

SL: There's no need

Isabelle: Oh there really is, Simon

Isabelle: But anyway, how's everything at the accademy?

SL: It's all fine, Izzy. But what's up with you?

Isabelle: I'm obviousy fine

SL: No you're not

Isabelle: I miss you

SL: I miss you too, Izzy. I miss you all. Even Jace

Isabelle: No, Simon. I miss you as in I miss us. As in our past. 

SL: Do you mean before I got my demon amnesia

Isabelle: Yeah... I haven't been wanting to burden you, but honestly I miss us. It hurts so much that you can't remember any of that

SL: I know how we were, Izzy... I just can't feel it but sometimes it does come back to me in fragments

Isabelle: I have them as a whole thing Simon. It's so hard. Knowing I can never have you back as you were

SL: I don't know how to be that person, Isabelle

Isabelle: I know. I don't want you to be, but at least you can stop saying that we won't work again

SL: I'm only saying the truth. You loved him, Izzy. The one before the demon amnesia. This.. I'm a different me now, I guess

Isabelle: Why won't you give it a chance? That's all I ask. A chance.

SL: I don't want to disappoint you, Isabelle. I don't want to hurt you any further

Isabelle: You won't.

SL: You don't know that

Isabelle: And you don't know whether you'd hurt me. Maybe I love you as much as I loved you before demon amnesia. Maybe you haven't changed all that much. Maybe you're a better person

SL: Maybe I'm not

Isabelle: Look, Simon, this is not going to work if you don't even try. We can see and if you don't like it, we can go back to being friends. But I can't lose you, Simon

SL: Maybe I could be there for you as a friend

Isabelle: SIMON FRICKIN LEWIS

Isabelle: I don't care if you're not him. I don't care what you think. Because I can see that you're a wonderful person. Clary can and for Raziel's sake Jace and Alec see it too. You need to stop degrading yourself and you need stop trying to be him because like you said, you're not him anymore. You're completely you and I love that. I love you, Simon and you drive me so insane! Why can't you see that? Are you blind? And if you dare say that you'll disappoint me I will find you and murder you. I swear.

SL: Getting murdered by doesn't seem bad

Isabelle: Seriously?! I mean is that a yes we can try again?

SL: Only because you'll murder me otherwise

Isabelle: Okay, how about we just have a friendly chat about how I did love the other Simon but you're just as good or better and pretty much the exact same heroic Simon as that one and how I love you with all my heart? And then we can maybe arrange a date and then we can possibly be together again?

SL: Sounds perfect, Isabelle. And I think I love you, Izzy.

Isabelle: I love you too, Simon. So I'll pick up up tomorrow at seven for dinner?

SL: That's cool

Isabelle: See you, then, Si

SL: Bye :)

Isabelle: 😘
