A question asked at debut:

"What is the meaning behind the name Solar Eclipse?" The interviewer asked

"So during a Solar Eclipse, the moon blocks the sun from the earth, causing earth to not have light, but then fans bring it." Jiyeon explained

"So a more detailed version. So think of the sun as our fans. during a Solar eclipse the earth is basically all dark, that was the 7 of us before our fans we were in a dark place, but that dark time went away slowly as soon as our fans cheer us on and bring light into our lives. So our mental health or bad place is the moon in this example, all of that went away as soon as we were reconnected with our fans." I explained

"And the fandom name?" Interviewer asked

"So since the sun represents our fans they are called Solars, kind of short for Solar System, because our fans mean more than the world to us, but um basically it's the fans being a source of light for us, or like bringing happiness to the 7 of us" Sihyeon replied

"And who came up with the group name and fandom name?" Interviewer asked

"The whole group" I replied

"No no, so Aela actually thought of everything, the rest of us had some ideas to add on so we added a bit, but she basically made up the group name, fandom name, and the explanations" Chae said

"That's very touching" interviewer smiled, we thanked them

"Will you all tell us a fun fact about yourself?" The interviewer asked us

"I learned how to play the guitar and piano from my sister Rosé" I responded

"I started writing songs at the age of eleven" Sihyeon said

"Growing up I stole my mom's clothes and I still have many of them with me" Jiyeon smiled

"I am not straight, do what you want with that information though you probably already know. But technically it's not just me that isn't" Eunji chuckled looking at all of the members and I

"I had a dog growing up, her name was Solar" Chae answered trying to cover up the fact that all of us just got outed

"I was adopted at birth" Yeji responded

"I was also adopted, but around the age of fourteen, I stayed with foster families from a month old until I was 13 years old, I kept my birth families surname Lee, my families surname is Min, but I decided to keep my birth surname Lee, Min Minji sounded a bit odd" Minji responded

"My family has the same surname as my birth families surname so I didnt have to change mine" Yeji said
