Remus woke up with a massive headache. His head was bursting, but this scars hurt him too. Overtime his scars got more sensitive. Whenever he felt a harsh pain, he could feel it through his scars.
'I see you woke up.' Said Sirius, who just walked into the room and helped Remus sit up. 'How are you feeling?'
'Yeah, could be better...' Remus was still dizzy from last night, but it wasn't as bad as his headache. 'Wait, this isn't my bed.'
'No, you slept in mine, since mine was the nearest to the door.' Before Remus could open his mouth, Sirius interrupted him. 'I slept in yours... if you were wondering.'
He walked up to the window and opened up the curtains. Without any warning the bright sunlight shone into Remus' face.
'Oops, sorry.' Sirius abruptly closed them, when he noticed Remus flinching and groaning at the sudden light.
'It's fine,' He said, still a bit irritated, 'Wait, how late is it?'
'Ten o'clock.'
'TEN O'CLOCK?' Remus tried to get out of bed, but his knees gave up when he put one leg out of bed. Fortunately, Sirius caught him just in time, or he could've seriously injured himself.
'Rem, don't worry, I've cancelled all your classes for today.' Sirius put a hand on Remus' shoulder to calm him down. Remus followed the movement of Sirius' hand, surprised at how long it rested on his shoulder. Remus had completely forgotten he wasn't wearing a shirt and suddenly felt very aware of the fact that he was partly naked, when he caught Sirius staring, again.
'I've cancelled mine too, so I can take care of you.'
'Did you tell them I'm hungover?'
'No, no of course not, I told them you had a fever.'
'Thank you, I really appreciate this.' Remus smiled, never in the world he would've thought to find himself in this situation.
'Of course, you're my best friend.' Friend. 'Also, this is partly my fault too, so...'
'Yeah...' Remus didn't even listen to what he'd said last, it just didn't enter his mind, not like the things he said before.
'Are you okay?' Remus looked up at the boy and was about to say something, but Sirius was him too quick. 'Of course you aren't, stupid question, I'm sorry.' He slapped his hand against his forehead.
'It's okay, Sirius, I'm okay.' He faked a smile at him, he was the only one who truly deserved his smile, even though it was fake. 'Well, at least, I could've been worse, y'know.'
'Good. Oh, right, I almost forgot. Here I got you some coffee.' Sirius grabbed a cup of coffee from the bedside table. 'Can I get you anything else?'
'No, thank you, I think I should just get some more sleep. Didn't sleep too well last night.'
'Okay, Moony. I'll be here on the bed next to you studying if you need anything.'
Remus turned around to his side and covered himself in the blankets when he closed his eyes, but he couldn't sleep for the words of it. He was too aware of the certain person sitting next to him. His eyes were still closed, but he had a strong urge to open them and look at him.
His eyelids slid open, he had no control of them anymore. When his vision returned, he caught Sirius looking at him. They both quickly looked away, but felt their eyes still roaming the other person through the corners of their eyes.
The blond boy was playing it cool, but was smiling like crazy on the inside. He started to blush, so he turned to his side, pointing his back at Sirius. He let his smile slip through his lips and closed his eyes. He was still too dizzy to fall asleep, but he could now relax, since his body was filled with warmth and happiness.
